Meet one of our newest kitties...Nougat. She is a beautiful 2-year-old Tortoiseshell with a coat washed in a sea of chocolate brown, orange, tan, and black. Torties are known for their tortietude, however, Nougat doesn't possess any diva-like qualities. Instead, she has a mild temperament and a delightful disposition. Even when frightened, she has never hissed growled, or swatted once. A couple of interesting facts about tortoiseshell cats: the most common coat style is mosaic — the traditional color combination mixed randomly. A chimera describes a tortoiseshell cat that is one color on one side of its body and a different color on the other side. It can happen on the face or throughout the entire body. Nougat has the more common mosaic pattern coat. Nougat is a little shy but has begun to warm up to us and is enjoying the petting and back-scratching she has been receiving. She'll be a wonderful companion for someone special. She would prefer a household with older children. She gets along with the other cats in the rescue and is adjusting to our dogs. Kitten is a young cat about a year old, I found her wondering the streets when she was about 6months old and was concerned that she'd be hit by a car. I was unable to find an owner and did not want to bring her to a shelter not knowing if she'd go to a good home. I have not had time to get her vaccinated or spayed but she is flea free and well fed. She is very good with people and other cats. She is very sweet and loves to watch cat tv shows and play with yarn. She hates the vacuum but is very curious with almost everything else. She is very sweet, is good with brushings and nail trimmings. I would keep her but I don't have enough time in my schedule and am not allowed to have pets at my home. I am looking for someone or a family who would like to add her to it to take good care of her where she will feel like apart of the family.

Dexter is a little over a year old. He is chipped, fixed and up to date with shots. He is a very social kitty and gets along well with other pets, people and children. He is very playful and enjoys snuggling, laying in the sun and chasing after lizards. He gets along with everyone he meets and adjusts quickly. He is adventurous and he would thrive in an indoor / outdoor environment. When left inside for to long he does have behavioral issues. Unfortunately my partner and I are moving to an indoor only environment and aren't able to give him the best quality of life that he so deserves. Hoping to find this very sweet boy his forever home.

Hello! This sweet boy needs a home. Found outside our home in North Lakeland on 3/29, he is super friendly and was someone's pet. We named him Thomas which stands for strength and resilience and he has both of these qualities! We took him to the vet on 4/23 and had him neutered and vaccinated. The vet found no chip and he had no collar. Thomas is a loving animal, a lap cat who enjoys the companionship of people. We are seeking a loving home to provide him the care and attention he deserves. FeLVI, FIV, and HW negative, dewormed at the vet. Estimated age between 2-4 years old. He is in good health, a very social friend and gets along well with other cats. He is cuddly and has a cute, distinctive meow. He is good with my boyfriends 11-year-old son, who he walks along with to the bus stop in the mornings at the end of our street. Overall, very good with people, children, & other cats. He enjoys catching lizards, playing with toys, and laying out in the shady spot in our front yard.

Phoenix is roughly 3 years old. She was adopted in July ‘22 after being thrown out of a moving vehicle. Since her arrival, she has grown into a loving & trusting cat. She is extremely cuddly & affectionate when she warms up to you. She enjoys looking out the window & watching tv. She will wait for you at the door when you leave and come home, just like a dog would. It comes with great sadness that we have to rehome her so we wish to help her get into a great home. Her ideal new home would be a family with children and no other cats. She can do good with some dogs but it is a long warmup process for that. She will truly melt your heart and will easily fill any void in your home.
