Meet Mochi! 🐾 Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix Age: 1 year old Size: Medium Status: Female If you're looking for a sweet companion with a gentle heart and a quiet sparkle of courage, I'd love to introduce myself. My name is Mochi, and I'm a one-year-old girl hoping to find the forever home where I can truly belong. I'm naturally friendly and enjoy spending time with people, although I may be a little reserved when meeting someone new. A little patience goes a long way with me, and once I feel comfortable, I'll happily greet you, lean against you, follow you from room to room, and soak up gentle head pats, ear scratches, and kind conversations. Life is all about enjoying the little things! I have fun chasing fuzzy mice, giggle balls, and crinkle toys, and I love hunting games, bird watching from the window, exploring, and relaxing near my favorite humans. When it's time to rest, you'll usually find me curled up in a cozy bed, tucked under furniture, or enjoying a peaceful corner where I can recharge. My favorite rewards include Churu treats, Delectables, and Temptations, and they're a wonderful way to earn my trust while we build our friendship. I'm litter trained, enjoy a regular quality diet, and have lower exercise needs, making me an easy companion to fit into a loving home. I'm still learning that new places can be safe, so I may need a little time to adjust after adoption. With kindness, encouragement, and a little patience, I'm ready to blossom into a loyal friend who will treasure every quiet moment we share. If you have room in your heart and home for a loving young cat searching for her forever family, I'd love the chance to meet you. Come visit me and see if we're the perfect match! For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday and 10:30 to 4 on Saturday, closed 1–2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.

Meet Peony, a beautiful Domestic Shorthair mix with a calm heart and a nurturing spirit that’s impossible not to love. This sweet medium-sized girl is a wonderful mama who not only cares for her own babies, but also lovingly adopted two orphaned kittens as if they were her own. Peony has a gentle, patient nature and forms loyal bonds with the people around her. She enjoys affection, quiet companionship, and happily soaks up attention from anyone willing to offer soft pets and kind words. Peony has a friendly personality and does well around other cats. She appears to be litter trained and comfortable in a home environment, making her an easy companion to welcome indoors. She enjoys lounging in sunny window spots, curling up in cozy blankets or cat trees, and relaxing beside her favorite humans. When she’s feeling playful, she loves feather wands, fuzzy mice, crinkle toys, laser pointers, and catnip toys. Churu treats, Temptations, and Delectables are some of her favorite rewards. She handles grooming well and will benefit from regular brushing, nail trims, and ear cleaning to keep her feeling her best. Peony has a peaceful presence but still enjoys playtime, climbing, bird watching, and stretching her legs around the house. From all of us at the shelter, we can honestly say Peony is the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home. Come meet this loving mama and see if she’s the perfect addition to your family. Meet Kobe, a handsome Domestic Shorthair mix with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and a quiet way of making himself right at home. At 3 years and 4 months old, this extra-large gentleman weighs 21 pounds and is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy spot in a loving home. Kobe is the kind of cat who appreciates life's simple pleasures. Picture him stretched out in a warm sunbeam, perched at a window watching birds flutter by, or curled up in a soft blanket-filled armchair enjoying a peaceful afternoon. He loves plush toys, catnip toys, tasty Churu treats, wet food toppers, and Temptations snacks, but his favorite reward may be the gentle companionship of someone he trusts. While Kobe can be a little shy when meeting new people, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion once he feels comfortable. He enjoys ear scratches, chin rubs, brushing sessions, and quietly leaning against his favorite person while they relax together. He appears to be litter trained, gets along well with other cats, is comfortable around children, and can happily entertain himself when left alone. Because he prefers a calmer environment and is not recommended for a home with dogs, he would thrive in a peaceful household where he can settle in at his own pace. Kobe's vaccinations are up to date, and he may benefit from some weight management support and regular brushing to help him look and feel his best. We believe this sweet, quiet boy has a bright future ahead and is just waiting for the right family to discover him.
