Story
Phoenix is roughly 3 years old. She was adopted in July ‘22 after being thrown out of a moving vehicle. Since her arrival, she has grown into a loving & trusting cat. She is extremely cuddly & affectionate when she warms up to you. She enjoys looking out the window & watching tv. She will wait for you at the door when you leave and come home, just like a dog would. It comes with great sadness that we have to rehome her so we wish to help her get into a great home. Her ideal new home would be a family with children and no other cats. She can do good with some dogs but it is a long warmup process for that. She will truly melt your heart and will easily fill any void in your home.

Story
Carrie is a 5 yr old retired mama torbie (tortie/tabby). She is shy at first but when she warms up she is chatty and snuggly with her person. Ideally, she would love a home where she can have all the attention as she does not care for other cats.

Unfortunately we found out my daughter is allergic to cats. We tried the liveclear kitten food to help with the allergy but she is still having issues. Kitty is young, she’s about 9 months old, up to date on shots.

Please note that she is at Sassy Cat Club Cafe in Brandon. In order to adopt her, you will need to fill out an application from our website and be approved. Once you are approved, you will need to go to Sassy Cat Club Cafe for the meet and greet process.   Hi! My name is Sadie. I was a stray girl who was being fed with another cat and the other cat disappeared and shortly after, the nice lady who was feeding me noticed a coyote on her ring doorbell. Thankfully she brought me into her pool deck and kept me safe until AKP took.me into their rescue. I can be a little shy at first but after a couple days I will come out for pets and love being brushed. She introduced me to another cat, and I just laid down and rolled onto my back. I really dont want to play with them, I just kind of ignore them. My foster mom keeps hanging strings in front of my face and throwing balls across the room but I'm not sure what I am supposed to do with them quite yet. I have just never played before! I love to sit in the window and look out and have learned how to climb to the top of my cat tree. I like to sleep all day like a typical cat! I am not a fan of being held or carried, and I really prefer not to be approached, but I will come to you and I answer to my name pretty good now when being called. What I would really love is a forever family to call my own. ##1634847##

Once you are approved, you will need to go to Sassy Cat Club Cafe for the meet and greet process.    Are you looking for a low maintenance adult cat perfect for an adult home? Mavis is your gal! Although Mavis comes with her own set of rules that her new mom and dad will, no doubt, enjoy taking the time to learn and have patience with, Mavis shows love and affection in her own way. Mavis loves to sit in laps and make biscuits until she gets comfy and curls up, but insists that you don't bother petting her while she enjoys that comfort. She waits for a kiss on her head when I come through the door in the morning and allows a light hug before I leave for the day. She also gets the zoomies which is hysterical to watch. But, in my opinion, the cutest thing she does is sleep flat on her face. You can visit Mavis at Sassy Cat Club Cafe but please keep in mind, she is a cat that might take a little time to let you get touchy feely with her.   Not good with children  ##1708189##

Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Kylie is a sweet 3-year-old tabby cat. She is a very cool kitty who loves to be adjacent to her humans. While she prefers to have 4 paws on the ground, she will cuddle up next to you for a cat nap or to indulge in some gentle pets while you enjoy your favorite TV show. She loves to be pet on her shoulder blades. Kylie’s favorite pastime is sitting in a sunny windowsill and watching all that nature has to offer. She also enjoys curling up next to a warm laptop or on a soft blanket, wherever that soft blanket may be. She can be a bit timid at first but is curious about her surroundings and adores humans. While she mostly enjoys loafing and watching the world go by, Kylie will sometimes play for a bit – thoroughly enjoying a new catnip kicker (video in profile) and occasionally batting at a wand toy. She has been known to climb bookshelves and curtains but is uninterested in the cat tree. However, she does appreciate her stand-alone scratching post. Kylie gets stressed by other cats and dogs in the home, so she would need to be the only pet in the household. Kylie is also on a special prescription diet due to urinary tract infections – we think they were caused by the stress of living with other animals. She has been with her foster family for 6 months and has had no medical issues. It’s possible in a relaxing environment, she could even come off the special diet. She eats and uses the litterbox well. She will make a wonderful companion for a quiet home where someone is around most of the time!   It’s worth noting that Kylie is on a special diet due to urinary tract infections. It’s possible that these issues may be related to stress, so a calm and stress-free environment would be beneficial for her overall well-being. If you’re interested in adopting Kylie, please ensure that you can provide her with the attention and care she needs as an only cat, along with maintaining her special diet. ##1758239##

He is an absolute gem of a cat and will make a great addition to any family. He is a volunteer favorite, both young and old, at PetSmart and just swoons over all the passers by with his handsome looks!  Duke came to us through a concerned community member, it seems Duke was left behind and put outside when his former family moved. He had a neck wound that required medical care, but now he is back to living his best life indoors with as many pets as he would like! Duke constanly purrs and loves to have conversation with his humans. Please consider adding Duke to your home and showing him a true forever family. ##1840200##
