Story
Hello.... My name is Arlington.  I'm a very shy girl, but if you'll bring out the treat bag..... I'm there!!!  I think I'd much rather be in a quiet home and I'm more of an observer than one of those wild and crazy kind of kitties.  I'm looking for someone to give me a little time, a bit of patience, and devotion.  I am sweet, but very shy.  Give me a chance, and I just know we'll be friends! ##1316539##

Story
I'm a kind of plump and shy girl, unlike my two brothers Paxton and Pudder, who also hang out with me in the free roaming room  My girlish figure does come from the fact that I am a little treat motivated, and the volunteers at the shelter are helping me every day build my self confidence.  I'd love a quiet home with a sunny view.... do you have one available? ##1290810##

Story
There's a song about me..... but rather than hear the song in your head, let me tell you a little about me.  I was kind of a grumpy guy when I came in to the shelter since I'd been living on the streets.  The kind ladies at Klassy Kats went ahead and fixed me as a feral (thus the tip in my ear), but as I was recovering I finally figured out humans weren't so bad after all.  During my surgery they also took a blood test and found out that I had FIV, so another reason I don't need to go live outside.  I'm now a pretty sweet guy.  I love pets and treats, and I didn't even know it myself until I met my first dog not long ago, that they're actually kind of cool..... so if you don't have another cat, but need a buddy for you or you AND your dog..... better get you a SHOTGUN (that's ME)!!! ##1396551##

I bet you thought my name would "boggle" you up, but it's actually pronounced B-oh-gle. Don't get us mixed up when you come visit, there's a couple of us mini black panthers in the room.... I'm the shy one.  I don't have a lot of requirements.... food, treats, play time now and then, but mostly a window or shelf that I can hang out on.... I'm the most undemanding guy you'll find.... and yo uknow black cats are the best!!! ##1492579##

Yes, I am sporting a tip ear. At the time I was "fixed" I was a bit of a saucy and spicy girl, but sincd then I've learned that humans aren''t so bad.  I am espcially your friend if you've got treats!  My favorite are those lick stick things.  If you've got treats, then we're best buddies already.  I do need to be an inside kind of girl so that I can stay healthy since they said I tested positive for FIV.  I'm ok with that if you're ok with that.  I much prefer the comforts of a warm bed and a sunny window anyways! ##1351878##

Need a Neiman in your life.... well that would be me!  I am a shy guy but I am working on coming out of my shell.  I am pretty new to the shelter, but I am slowly making friends.  I would prefer a quieter home if you were willing to give me the time. It'd be great if you have some treats..... I'm sure we'd be friends pretty quickly! ##1606418##

Story
Dean came to us as a semi feral kitty. He is doing good with our volunteers and is super gentle but needs a home that will give him time to adjust and let him be. He will learn to trust over time. He loves his brother Sammy and they would do best in a home together. He likes to play with the other kitties in our office and does well with children that are calm.  When Dean came to us we kept watching him and his breathing concerned us. We thought he had a heart condition. The vet did x-ray's and thought he may have had an enlarged heart but an Echocardiogram confirmed his heart was fine however the x-ray revealed a broken hip. Dean was getting around just fine and was not showing obvious pain other than he had deep breathing. He recently had FHO surgery, basically the equivalent  of a kitty hip replacement. He has recovered well and is now ready for his furever home.  Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://form.jotform.com/232355976148163 This application does not commit you to an adoption.
