Story
Tito is a fairly chill, male, gray tabby who would love to hang out on your lap and receive soft pets while you tell him what a good and handsome boy he is. Tito is made to soak up the love, and this boy would do his best in a home without dogs or young children. Tito likes things on the calmer side, and he certainly can do well with a well-mannered kitty buddy. So, if you already have a cat, it is likely that Tito may get along just fine. Tito has special dietary needs and daily medication for a condition called stomatitis. His forever family will need to be ready to keep up with his medication and monitor his condition.May 13, 2024, 12:04 am

If you are looking for an affectionate young kitty to start a new adventure full of fun and love look no further than Riff Raff. He is a social cat and would love a home with his sister Janet! Story
Meet Winter Melon! This stunning Snowshoe mix came to AARF with her four kittens, who have all since been adopted. Now Winter Melon is waiting for her turn. She can be a little shy when you first meet, but after some encouragement and a wand toy, she comes right out of her shell! She loves to soak up all the love and attention and may even get a little offended if you stop petting her. Melon would like a home more on the chill side and would prefer one without dogs or small children. &#226&#128&#139 Winter Melon is a social cat and would love to have a home with another kitty friend! Story
Meet Cardamom! This gorgeous dilute tortoiseshell kitty was found living outside with a feral colony. During a local TNR effort, she was found to be a sweet kitty who preferred the indoor life. After making her way to AARF, she found a foster that has helped her come out of her shell. Cardamom loves snuggles and pets and would be the perfect lap-cat. She's a purring machine and would love a quiet home without any small children. She is also socialized with other cats and small dogs and could do well in a home with either. Cardamom is spayed and up to date on vaccines. If you're interested in adopting Cardamom, visit https:/aarfatlanta.org/adoptablepets to fill out an application!May 13, 2024, 12:04 am

Story
Ditto came to us undersocialized and scared, but he's been blossoming and making great strides ever since. He loves the other cats and would do well in a home with another cat to build his confidence. He's a bit of a nervous nelly! One thing Ditto has learned since coming to PAWS Atlanta is how to play with toys - he loves feathers, cat nip mice, and any good game of chase and capture. He's heard you cannot catch the red dot, but he doesn't believe that. This sweet boy needs a patient, loving, and playful home where he can continue to grow. People still scare him and frustrate him at times, but he's curious and loves to play as long as they take it slow. He's currently in a foster home and continuing to make great progress there!

Story
Wish is currently living in a foster home and doing fantastic. We saw this sweet boy get thrown over our fence one day, and we rushed to find him. He was scared and hiding under our van, but he could not resist the chance at getting some attention, despite what humans had just done to him. He meowed and talked to us and began crawling towards us. We scooped him up and there has not been a day since that he hasn't been doted on and loved. He is affectionate, friendly, playful, and curious. He is tolerant and loving. But, Wish has one big hurdle to getting adopted. When he was abandoned at PAWS he tested leukemia positive, but he shed it, and he has had 3 negative tests since then, which means it could never come back and he can live a long, normal, healthy life but, because sometimes it can lie dormant in bone marrow, there is still a risk to have him around other kitties, particularly ones that are not vaccinated against FELV. He also cannot live with other FELV positive cats because he is negative. So, we need to find a one kitty home for this sweet boy. Luckily, his two fosters adore him and are willing to hold onto him until that hero steps forward. Wish is so worth the chance. He is a truly unique and special boy who has defeated the odds once and would love the chance to defeat them again and find a home. He is still young, and he has been nothing but healthy since we discovered him.

Story
Sasappis came to PAWS when his owners could no longer afford to care for him. Their son had moved in to help his parents, but they were getting older and taking care of the cats too was impossible. He gets along great with other cats, though he is shy with people. He is FIV positive but quite healthy. He loves treats! It is a great way to get to know this little man.

Story
Ritz A.K.A Hey Boo is a beautiful, muted calico, she is about 1 to 2 years old. Playful, joyful, gentle, curious are just a few words to describe this amazing cat. Ritz is Feline Leukemia positive, so she would need to be the only cat in the home or the other cats in the home would have to be Feline Leukemia positive also. Ritz is currently in foster because Feline Leukemia can be spread to others she cannot stay at the shelter. Ritz's favorite pass times are making biscuits, chasing wand toys, watching "cat T.V. and regular T.V. (PBS is her favorite channel). Ritz is ready for her forever home. Her best home would be a medium level energy home. We haven't seen her with kids but she is very playful but also very gentle and we think she could be good with kids.
