We have feral cats, but also some that are not feral but still better suited for an outdoor home. These are  cats which are maybe shy with people or skittish, do not get along with other pets in close proximity, or simply cats which don't like to be held or petted much but enjoy looking out the window or tackling furry mice at their foster home instead! She is a low energy, low maintenance type that is quite content gazing out the window or snoozing in a cat bed while you go about your business. Once you sit or lay down, you will find her next to you, ready for affection.  Sweet Pea seems to like other cats as long as they aren't overly active. She does NOT want to wrestle with them, but she will rub against them lovingly. She is even unbothered by calm dogs and can be found napping on her foster mom's bed with the (low energy) 90 pound dog.   Loud noises spook gentle Sweet Pea, so a quieter home would be her favorite. Sweet Pea is FIV positive. This means her immune system is lower than what you would expect for a cat, but she can still live a long and normal life. See more on FIV here .
