Meet Chatterbox!Since being here, we have learned a few things about this half-stache gal! Firstly, she LOVES being on your lap and getting attention! She enjoys exploring, and when she's satisfied she has looked at every corner, she'll jump up onto your lap for a cuddle. She'd make a nice kitty for someone looking for a couch partner, a Netflix buddy, or a reading nook friend! Unlike her name, she's actually on the quieter side! Every once and awhile she'll let out a little chirp to get your attention, but other than that she's right under your feet! Chatterbox did come in with other kitties, so we think a home with them would be okay in her books! As for dogs, she hasn't seemed to care too much about their presence so may do okay with them too. Slow introductions to either cats or dogs would be beneficial for both parties, though!Come on down to Petsmart in Augusta to meet her!

Meet Sci-fi!This beef-a-lious boy has the biggest cheeks you'll ever see! Sci-Fi enjoys someone who respects that he's unsure of humans. He'll need a home where the humans can continue to work on socializing him and winning him over! He's started making progress here at the shelter. He enjoys cozy-cone/hidey type beds, wet food, and slow movements. Fast movements still spook this giant baby! Due to this, Sci-Fi politely "Nopes" out on young kids. He'd much rather enjoy a retirement/quiet type home with low foot traffic. As for other kitties, Sci here must go to a home that has cats with FIV or no other kitties. It's unknown how he will do with dogs, though quieter/calm dogs may be okay in his books.One important this about the shy-guy is he has FIV! This is an autoimmune disease where if he gets sick, he has a harder time overcoming the sickness than a negative kitty does.
