Story
Meet Buddy — The Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold! Buddy is a big, shy sweetheart who may seem a little reserved at first, but don’t let his size fool you — underneath that quiet exterior is a playful, loving boy just waiting for the right home to help him feel safe and confident. He’s searching for a quiet, indoor-only home where life moves at a calm pace. Respectful teens who understand giving him space and letting him come to them should be just fine. Since Buddy hasn’t shared space with other animals before, we’re not sure how he feels about furry roommates — slow, thoughtful introductions would be key if they’re in the picture.Buddy’s dream setup includes:Plenty of cozy hiding and napping spots where he can feel secureLots of toys, especially interactive ones and anything with catnipCat trees & scratching posts for stretching his long legsWindow perches for peaceful birdwatching sessionsTreats, wet food, and catnip — the fastest way to his heartWith a little patience and a lot of love, Buddy blossoms into a loyal, playful companion who fills a room with calm, comforting energy. If you’re looking for a sweet, soft-hearted big boy to share your quiet home, Buddy might just be your perfect match.

Story
Ammo is a 5 year old male domestic shorthair Indoor/Outdoor cat with double paws and the uncanny ability to find clean laundry to nap on. He loves morning cuddling, is very food-driven, and would make a loving companion to a home in need. My wife and I are moving and we unfortunately cannot bring Ammo with us. He is fully vaccinated, fixed, and in perfect health aside from being slightly overweight. We are re-homing him free of charge and can provide some starter cat supplies if needed (litter box, food, etc.). Please contact Kyle if interested: (207) 346-7340.

Story
Taylor is the star of the show - confident, talkative, and full of charm. She's the extrovert of her litter and loves being the center of attention (a.k.a. Taylor Swift!). With her playful spirit and snuggly nature, this sweet kitty will steal your heart in seconds!HART requires that young kittens be adopted in pairs unless you have an existing kitten or young cat at home. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions. Rather this ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. Most rescue groups have similar policies regarding kittens.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As
