Story
Don`t be spooked by his name, Boo is a sweet and chatty little guy with more charm than a catnip factory! This kitty is on a low-carb diet and is on medication to help manage his diabetes (staff can tell you more!). He loves head scratches and soft beds to snuggle up on, so he`s looking for adopters that are ready to help him live out his best life as a couch potato! Boo is full of love and a pinch of sass, so he would like to be your one and only pet, please!

Story
Meet Mitzi! They have been waiting patiently at the shelter for their perfect adopter to come along. She is worried, and sweet, so we’re taking it slow as we get to know them and allowing them to build up confidence at their own pace. Mitzi is looking for a patient adopter who can give her a quiet, low traffic home to settle into. Mitzi is what we call a spirit cat, and if you adopt them, you probably wouldn’t even notice they are in your house if it weren’t for the mysterious overnight disappearance of cat food. We often can’t predict how a spirit cat will be after they settle in – some become comfortable around their family and choose to spend time with them by sharing the same space or allowing some petting, while others continue to prefer to hide when there’s any commotion. Spirit cats generally prefer to spend their time around other cats and make an excellent kitty friend to a cat already in the home. Our staff can help prepare adopters to welcome a spirit cat into a quiet home, but patience and understanding will go a long way with Mitzi!

Story
This cat is part of our Working Cat Program! This program is for cats that are not well suited for an indoor-only type lifestyle but would thrive in environments with more space, a job, and/or less pressure from humans and other pets. This cat originally came to us from the outdoors so we don`t know a lot about his past. While they are used to people being in somewhat close proximity to feed and care for them, these are not currently social cats but would make great ‘behind the scenes’ working cats! Interested adopters must have a safe, secure structure or barn for a working cat and be able to provide adequate time for acclimation. If you are interested, please give us a call today! If you would like to learn more about the Working Cat Program, or would like to fill out an application, please visit: www.mspca.org/barncat

Story
Dru he is very friendly and good with people, he likes to play with toys and fetch, he is an indoor cat and chill most of the time, loves affection, will cuddle with you. He gets along well with other cats male or female. He loves children and handles the noise well. He is quiet and sleeps most of the time. Not afraid of strangers. Loves to play - chase string, catnip toys, plastic bottle tops! My husband and I recently inherited Dru from our daughter and family who live in a small apartment and no longer have space for him. We are senior citizens who have worries about tripping and one of us has severe allergies. We know Dru will be appreciated and loved by someone who needs his comfort. He really is a sweet cat.
