Story
MEET JasperJasper has been through quite a bit of turmoil recently when his owner moved to a retirement home, then he couldn`t get along with dogs of the neighbor who took him in. Not surprisingly, he is very shy (he hid his face when getting his vaccines!) but we are hoping that patience and time will allow him to warm up and relax. Because he`s not a fan of other animals or unknown people we think he would do best as the only pet in an adult only house.Jasper is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Jasper or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Needs special attention,
Story
Hi, my name is Pharaoh and I am an 8 year old handsome senior guy here at Cape Ann Animal Aid. Although I'm not from Egypt, I'm more famous than King Tut and Cleopatra to everyone who loves me here. People describe me as a gentle giant so don't be surprised if I come up to you slowly and softly nudge you with my big ol' head. I don't want to brag but everyone here thinks I am quite the handsome gentleman. My bright white whiskers stand out against my beautiful smokey grey coat, and my little white half mustache is just as cute as it gets. I was found as a stray and am just looking for someone to finally call my person and give me the home and love I've been waiting my whole life for. I am considered a special needs adoption due to a condition called FIV, which stands for Feline immunodeficiency Virus. It is one of the most common and consequential infectious diseases of cats around the world. Many FIV+ cats live a perfectly normal and healthy life but it is a disease that lowers the immune system. However I don't let it stop me from being the loving, laid back kinda guy that everyone loves. If you think you'd love to have this Egyptian King rule over your heart, you can apply for me at https://capeannanimalaid.org/adopt.html

Story
Hello, my name is Ivan and I am a beautiful 1 and a half year old boy who was found as a stray. I am a handsome beefy black panther with a personality that will charm you the moment we meet. I am super friendly and have affection to go for days. They call me the aggressive snuggler because I am very demanding of love and will rub against you immediately until you comply with my request for pets. Basically I am just one big chunk of love bug. If you think you have what it takes to love me as much as I will surely love you, you can apply for me at https://capeannanimalaid.org/adopt.html

PLEASE: fill out an application at www.browndogcoalition.com/cats after reading the entirety of the adoption profile. Inquiries will slow down the adoption process. Umar and Ugol MUST be adopted together.Umar and Ugo are your typical kittens! They are high energy and have no concept of personal space. These brothers play hard and nap harder! They get along well with other feline friends but haven't met any dogs or kids yet. However, they are young and outgoing so we think they would do well in almost any home! Adopters must be within driving distance of Grafton, MA to bring their kitten(s) to Tufts to get spay/neutered by 6 months of age.Pre-adoption meetings to review adoption plans, paperwork, payment, and contracts will be done through Google Meet. Approved adopters must be available to pick up their cat/kitten(s) in North Dartmouth, MA on 4/30 between 1 and 2:30 pm.- Kittens/cats may not be given as gifts or surprises.- Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical safety and financial and emotional responsibilities of a kitten/cat BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fee can be found at www.browndogcoalition.com/cats
