Ever thought about getting your cat their very own cat? A best friend for your cat, one that will adore them and keep them company when they're away? Well meet Asher!!Asher is a cat-cat.Like how girls can be a "girl's girl"- Asher is a cat's-cat! This boy LOVES other cats, and just wants his very own feline best friend. When a family was missing their silver tabby and found Asher outside, they thought he was their cat! They brought him to the vet for a check up since they thought he had been missing, and while Asher was at the vet for that check up, they FOUND THEIR ACTUAL CAT. They didn't know what to do with Asher after they found their actual cat, and they asked the vet to find him a home. So the vet asked us to take Asher. That was in 2022.Asher lives in our Free Roam room with other adult cats, and has had a lot of roommates over the 2 years that he's been with us. With every roommate he's had, he's became obsessed with them. He loves to try to sleep in beds with the other cats, and is sad when the other cat gets out of the bed and doesn't want to cuddle. He loves to have other cats groom his head, and he adores grooming them back. TRULY, Asher PREFERS other cats.Asher is a quiet boy, he doesn't come to the door or meow for attention but will accept attention when you give it to him. We believe the reason Asher has been overlooked all this time is because he's shy with new people, and everyone wants a social cat and doesn't want to give the shy cat a chance. But we promise you, if you sit down on the ground with Asher, he will love your pets! Once he gets comfortable in your home, he'll be joining you on the couch for movie nights! If you've been looking for a companion for your current cat, please consider Asher! He is CRAVING a best feline friend, and hasn't found his bonded pair yet! He will ADORE your current cat, and you'll be wondering why you didn't get them a best friend sooner!Asher is fixed, microchipped, up to date on all his shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. He NEEDS a home with another cat, and cannot be a single cat. He would not do good in a home with dogs or children. To see if Asher is the companion you've been searching for, please submit an application at https://petangeladoption.com/adopt-a-cat

Story
Hi, I'm Iva!I first came to Pet Angel when I was a kitten in 2018, and was adopted that year. I lived almost 3 years with my first former family, but they weren't able to care for me properly, and when I got sick in 2022, they brought me back to Pet Angel. Pet Angel nursed me back to health, and I was up for adoption for over a year before I was adopted by my second family. Unforuntely, the cat my second family already had did not accept me. I was in the home for 6 months, and she wasn't a fan of me, so my second family returned me to Pet Angel in December of 2023. Now, I'm on the hunt for my 3rd home, and this time, my forever home.I'm not going to lie, I have some emotional baggage that I carry from my former homes and it takes me some time to build trust with a new human. Once I get to know you, I just love you. I roll over for belly rubs, I'll come sit on your lap, and I just purr SOOO loud. But it takes me some time to get to that point. Most of the time, I'm hiding in my hidey hole, and in my former home, I spent a lot of time hiding. I'm praying I can find owners who have a quiet home that makes me feel safe, so I feel comfortable coming out of hiding and exploring. I wish for a human who will show me kindness, love, and gentle cuddles. Somebody who will sit with me and coax me out when I am scared, and reassure me that nothing scary will happen to me here. I promise, once I know I'm safe, You will just LOVE me! But I need to feel safe to open up! I love belly rubs, treats and wet food! I also enjoy yeowww toys and watching cat tv on youtube (Abby plays it for me on her phone!)I am looking for a quiet, indoor only home with no dogs or children. I would do well with another laid back, shy, quiet cat, but wouldn't mesh well with a hyper one that will try to wrestle with me. I really hope I can find the person who can teach me what love TRULY is, and I hope that person is you! If you'd like to meet me, please submit an application at https://petangeladoption.com/adopt-a-cat

Story
Hi, my name is Vinnie! In November of 2023, I tried to break into the lobby of the Bavarian Inn Lodge! The COO of the Lodge, Jim Engel, is a founder of Pet Angel, so the employees of the Lodge took me to Jim's office and I spent the day with him, and then he brought me to the rescue! Pet Angel went on a hunt to find my family, and found out that I've been a stray cat living on the streets of Frankenmuth most of my life! A family just south of Mobil in Frankenmuth was caring for me as their stray, but weren't able to bring me inside and keep me, so I become a Pet Angel cat! Pet Angel got me fully vetted, and I'm finally ready to be a housecat! I heard being a house cat is way better than living on the streets, and I'm excited to find my very own (and first ever) home!I love to play! With toys, with people, with strings hanging off your hoodie, and with anyting I can turn into a toy! I love to wrestle with my human friends, and will play with you rough! I enjoy attention, love to rub up against your ankles, and enjoy rolling around on my favorite rug! I love ALL types of cat toys- jingle balls, and yeowww toys, and felt mice, and foil balls, springs and pom poms are some of my favorites! I get very excited when you bring the stick toy out to play with me, because I love to chase after it! I am a big fan of canned food, and love treats VERY much! I am an alpha cat, and like to be dominate, so sometimes I will reach out and grab my human friends when they walk by, so I hope to find humans who can put up with a saucy guy like me!I haven't met the other kitties at Pet Angel because most of them are shy or have special needs, and I am a cat who likes to wrestle and play. I would likely get along with another cat that would be submissive and like to play, but if you have another alpha cat, we would likely not get along. Since I lived as an outside cat for so long, I had to avoid dogs most of my life, and dogs make me nervous. I would be best suited for a home with no dogs. Additionally, I like to play with my humans and am rough, so I would be best in a home with children over the age 12.I am looking for a strictly indoor only home, with a family who will NEVER let me outside! I lived on the streets for long enough, and am excited to transition into a spoiled house cat! I have never had a family before, and can't wait to find the humans who will love me until the end of time! I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV! If you would like to meet me and see if I'm the kitty you've been looking for, please submit an application at https://petangeladoption.com/adopt-a-cat

Story
Hello, my name is Bob! But don't let my name fool you- I'm a lady! I was adopted from Pet Angel with another kitty when I was a kitten. Her name was Shishka, so together, we were "Shishka Bob!" Shishka and I were surrendered to Pet Angel at the end of 2023 when our owners living situation changed. Shishka and I are not bonded, so even though we came in together, Shishka was already adopted.I am a quiet, reserved soul most of the time, but once you get to know me, I am beyond the most loving cat you'll meet! I like to spend my time snuggled in a bed, but I am always so excited when you come to give me love. I just melts into your hand, and get so happy I'll starts to drool! I would love to curl up on your lap while you watch TV, and snuggle with you in bed each night. I am easy going, mellow, and while I'm on the shy-er side, I am SUCH a lover!I am looking for a quiet, strictly-indoor only home with no other pets!!! I need a human who likes to snuggle, but won't wrestle with me. I have so much love to give, but will need a slow introduction to my new home, as I'm almost 10 years old, so new surroundings is a lot for me to take in. Additionally, I do not travel well and will be overwhelmed when you first get me home. Give me 2 weeks in my own room and some time to decompress and get to know you, and you'll be wondering how you ever lived your life without me!I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all their shots, negative for FIV/FELV and front paw declawed. I would be ideal for a couple who has children who have moved out of the home, a single person who wants a special companion, or an older couple or person who wants a sweet kitty to spoil. Story
Hi, My name is Graham! I was transferred to Pet Angel from another organization because I am a high stress cat. When I arrived to the other organization, whom also houses dogs, I was so afraid I lost all my fur. No seriously- I was a naked cat. The anxiety of being in loud building with so many dogs stressed me out so bad I lost all my fur, and they took me to the vet thinking I had a skin condition. The vet was able to figure out it was from stress, and agreed to keep me in her clinic in a low-stress environment so I could grow my fur back. Once my fur was mostly grown back in (as of right now, I'm still a little patchy on my ears and my back legs. A lot of people think I am a black cat with tabby strips, but the vet says that's just the way my fur is growing back in!) they asked Pet Angel to take me. Pet Angel is a specialized cat only rescue that focuses on bonded pair, extra-need, shy and elderly cats, so there are no dogs here and much calmer environment. Since arriving to Pet Angel, I've been doing quite well, but they also have given me ample time to adjust without stress, so I haven't lost any more of my fur! YAY! While I am a nervous boy, I am the biggest lover and I just adore humans! I usually spend my time inside my favorite hidey hole bed, or the circle tunnel in my free roam room, but if you coax me out, I will come out for all the attention! I love to be with you! I start to drool as soon as you start petting me! I love to sit on your lap, and never want you to stop petting me! I do good with the other mellow cats that I live with, and enjoy that they don't try to wrestle with me! They're good company! I am hoping to find a mellow family to take me home with them! Since I am a high-stress cat, I'm hoping to find a low-stress home! One where I can stay strictly indoors and will not travel, have lots of places to hide if I want to, and do not have a lot of other animals or children in the home. If your home is busy, I will not thrive there. I am the biggest lover, and if you have a quiet home, you're going to wonder how you lived without me for so long!!! I am fixed, microchipped, and up to date on all my shots, and I am negative for FIV/FELV! I would love to meet you!
