Story
Hi, my name is Vinnie! In November of 2023, I tried to break into the lobby of the Bavarian Inn Lodge! The COO of the Lodge, Jim Engel, is a founder of Pet Angel, so the employees of the Lodge took me to Jim’s office and I spent the day with him, and then he brought me to the rescue! Pet Angel went on a hunt to find my family, and found out that I’ve been a stray cat living on the streets of Frankenmuth most of my life! A family just south of Mobil in Frankenmuth was caring for me as their stray, but weren’t able to bring me inside and keep me, so I become a Pet Angel cat! Pet Angel got me fully vetted, and I’m finally ready to be a housecat! I heard being a house cat is way better than living on the streets, and I’m excited to find my very own (and first ever) home!I love to play! With toys, with people, with strings hanging off your hoodie, and with anyting I can turn into a toy! I love to wrestle with my human friends, and will play with you rough! I enjoy attention, love to rub up against your ankles, and enjoy rolling around on my favorite rug! I love ALL types of cat toys- jingle balls, and yeowww toys, and felt mice, and foil balls, springs and pom poms are some of my favorites! I get very excited when you bring the stick toy out to play with me, because I love to chase after it! I am a big fan of canned food, and love treats VERY much! I am an alpha cat, and like to be dominate, so sometimes I will reach out and grab my human friends when they walk by, so I hope to find humans who can put up with a saucy guy like me!I haven’t met the other kitties at Pet Angel because most of them are shy or have special needs, and I am a cat who likes to wrestle and play. I would likely get along with another cat that would be submissive and like to play, but if you have another alpha cat, we would likely not get along. Since I lived as an outside cat for so long, I had to avoid dogs most of my life, and dogs make me nervous. I would be best suited for a home with no dogs. Additionally, I like to play with my humans and am rough, so I would be best in a home with children over the age 12.I am looking for a strictly indoor only home, with a family who will NEVER let me outside! I lived on the streets for long enough, and am excited to transition into a spoiled house cat! I have never had a family before, and can’t wait to find the humans who will love me until the end of time! I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and

Story
Hello, my name is Rocco! I am a kitten with quite the backstory who is looking for the purrfect home to make my happily ever after and will care for me all the rest of my days! Despite having a medically enlarged heart, I am so sweet and the second you meet me and hear me purr, you’re going to want to take me home with you! In May of 2025, on the first 80 degree day in Frankenmuth, somebody dumped my mommy, me and my 5 brothers outside Pet Angel. Our mommy cat was left inside a teeny, tiny cage and next to the cage, they left a rubber maid tote fully closed with me and my 5 brothers inside of it. We were just 6-week old, and the tote didn’t even have air holes in it!!! When the volunteers showed up for the evening shift, they found us, and quickly brought us inside to safety. Pet Angel named our mommy Sesame, and me and my brothers were all named after Sesame Street Characters (I’m Rocco, but my brothers names are Grover, Elmo, Bert, Ernie & Snuffy!) We went off to foster care, where we were safe and sound while our mommy weaned raised and weaned us, and we came back to Pet Angel when we were big enough to be without 24 hour care. I am a purr bucket! The second somebody even looks at me, I start purring! I am playful, but I don’t climb on peoples backs and chew on human’s hair like some of my brothers do! Instead, I like to play with cat toys like springs, ping pong balls, hide in the cat tunnels and I love a toy on a stick! I love when people wear hoodies with strings, because I love to play with them! I love to be held, and will put my paws right on your shoulder and stay there for far longer than you want to hold me! I like to lay down in cat beds, and enjoy snuggling with my brothers and roommates, but I also like to wrestle them when they’re in the mood! I am outgoing, adventurous, affectionate and playful, but I’m not as rambunctious as some of my brothers are. I’m the purrfect balance between playful and active and snuggly and mellow! I do have a small health condition, and I am hoping that this does not scare away any potential owners, but helps me find the best family who will give me all the care I may need in my life. In the end of July 2025, one of my brothers, Snuffy, suddenly passed away. One day he was sick, so Pet Angel took him immediately into the vet, and the next day he was gone. It happened so fast, and all of the staff and volunteers at Pet Angel were absolutely devastated. At first, The vet thought Snuffy’s s

Hello, my name is Bert! I am a kitten with quite the backstory who is looking for the purrfect home to make my happily ever after and will care for me all the rest of my days! I was born with an enlarged heart, and I tested positive for a heart condition called HCM. I am looking for a owner who isn’t afraid of a kitty with a heart condition, and will give me the life I deserve: full of love, admiration, and the vet care I require. In May of 2025, on the first 80 degree day in Frankenmuth, somebody dumped my mommy, me and my 5 brothers outside Pet Angel. I am sleek boy with long legs and a long nose! I love to play with toys, carry around pom pom balls, and chew on show laces. I enjoy wrestling my roommates (especially my counterpart, Bert) and clinging to your shoulder when you pick me up! My foster mama used to let me sleep in the hood of her hoodie, so now I love cat hammocks because they’re kind of like a sweatshirt hood. I sleep in the hammock with my belly up! I am outgoing, and want to be around people! I am playful, with both toys, roommates, and people (and shoes- boy, do I love shoes!) and I’m the purrfect kitty- you will just love me! I’m adorable, friendly, sweet, playful and so much fun! I do have a health condition, and I am hoping that this does not scare away any potential owners, but helps me find the best family who will give me all the care I may need in my life. Hi, my name is Angel and I’m looking for my forever home! In June of 2025, Pet Angel got a call that a girl found a dead mama cat with an alive newborn kitten laying next to her. Psst- I was the kitten! They asked if Pet Angel could take me. My eyes were still shut, I was only a day or so old. Pet Angel said yes they could take me, but not to bring me to the facility, and asked my finders if they could take me directly to Pet Angel’s vet instead. Upon arriving to the vet, I began throwing up blood- as a newborn tiny kitten! The doctor said “I’m going to hang onto her, she isn’t doing well!” and Pet Angel thought I was for sure a goner when the vet gave them an update on me and said “It isn’t looking good.” A couple weeks later, the vet contacted Pet Angel and said “Hey, remember that little calico kitten?! We saved her life! She’s doing great! We named her Angel! We’re going to keep her a little longer just to be absolutely sure, but she should be able to come back to you soon!” Pet Angel was shocked, they really thought I wasn’t going to make it, but thanks to their amazing vet, I pulled through! Pet Angel had a litter of 4 kittens around my size in foster care, and the foster family agreed that I could join their foster home and be raised with the other kittens so I had friends. So when the vet cleared me to be with other kittens, I joined my pseudo-littermates in foster care! I was raised along side Tina & Gene (who are also up for adoption) and Louise and Teddy (who ended up being adopted by our foster family already) and we had the best of time in our foster home! After we all got fixed and recovered, Tina, Gene and I came to Pet Angel, met the other kittens at the rescue, and now we’re all ready to find our forever homes! If you can’t tell from the photos of me, everyone tells me that I am beautiful! With my white paws, my different colored legs, and my beautiful calico markings on my body. However, I’m not just stunning, I’ve also got a great personality! I am such a lover, and as soon as you start giving me attention, I am a purr bucket! I love to make buscuits, be snuggled, get on your lap, and get attention- of course! I love to play inside the cat tunnel in our free roam room, and I can often be found napping on my favorite cat hammock! I love to climb the scratching posts, and I enjoy wrestling my roommates. I am very outgoing, affectionate, and playful- you’re just going to love me! I am looking for a strictly indoor-on

I am on the cat wheel ALL the time, and its so funny because I YELL at the top of my lungs while I’m walking on the wheel. Step-MEOW-Step-MEOW-Step-MEOW: all day long! I even nap on the cat wheel sometimes so my roommates can’t steal it from me. I love people, and will always try to get in your lap and get attention. I love to wrestle and play with my roommates! I love to chew on peoples long hair, play with the strings on your hoodies, and chew on your shoelaces! I am outgoing, playful, loveable, and talkative! If I can be honest with you, sometimes I munch on my human friends. I’ve never drawn blood, but I like to wrestle with you just like I wrestle with my roommates. Because I’m a human-muncher, I am not fit for a home with young children. I do have a health condition, and I am hoping that this does not scare away any potential owners, but helps me find the best family who will give me all the care I may need in my life.
