Meet Kramer, the dashing pale orange kitten with a splash of white on his paws and face, and his buddy George, a bright orange tabby who’s just as handsome! These two charming furballs were born in the winter of 2023 and entered rescue with their two siblings, all sporting names inspired by Seinfeld characters. Kramer is the life of the party! He adores playtime with humans and his fellow foster felines, plus he’s a belly rub enthusiast who loves to snuggle up. George, on the other paw, starts off a bit shy but warms up to cuddles and belly rubs like a champ. He’s got that playful sparkle in his eye! These dynamic duo are on the lookout for a forever home where they can stick together, supporting each other through new adventures. They need a human who’s ready to shower them with just the right amount of love and make them feel safe and cozy. Sheldon is an adorable male white with tabby kitten, who came into rescue with 4 siblings, all named after characters from the Big Bang Theory.  The litter was rescued from under a garden shed.  They were born in the spring of 2023.  Like his namesake, Sheldon Cooper, he is a bit reserved around people, especially strangers.  Once he is comfortable, he becomes a pillow that wants a squeeze.  He likes to play, cuddle, be pet--all the normal cat things.  Because Sheldon will likely be quite nervous moving to a new home, it would be ideal for him to go to a family who has experience with cats or who is willing to be patient with him while he learns to be comfortable in his new surroundings.  He is great with other cats and would love to go home with one of his siblings.    Sheldon will only be adopted as an indoor family pet.  He has been neutered, tested negative for fe-leuk/FIV, has been dewormed and is up to date on all his age-appropriate kitten shots.  For more information on Sheldon or to adopt him, please text any questions to his foster mom Jackie at 320-761-0256, or you can apply at https://bit.l/HSSCJackiesapp.  Sheldon's adoption fee is $75 plus tax ($80.16) but if he is adopted with another kitten the fee is reduced to $50 per kitten ($106.88).  November 2, 2024, 2:24 pm

It does take time for cats to adjust to the shelter. It is best to come in and meet the cat in person to know what you think of their personality while you are here. We do recommend you bring small children in to meet the cats, we tend to find that most cats will choose the children and be the best of friends. We will give you information on how to properly introduce cats together. All our cats use the litterbox but that does not imply that we know what they’ll do in a different environment. Please bring along a crate for your adopted friend. We do have cardboard carriers at the shelter as well for $7.50 plus tax. We also ask that you bring landlord permission, and that declawing is not recommended.
