Meet Matisse! If photos don't show, please visit https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/68850-watonwan-county-humane-society-st-james-minnesota* Fee Waived - long term resident*Matisse and several other kittens were brought to the shelter in July. She was frightened of people when she first arrived.Fast forward to October and she is much more trusting of people and the volunteers that interact with her on a daily basis.Matisse is so beautiful and cute. She is coming out of her shell more and more.If she's eating her yummy wet food and you slowly reach to pet her, she will let you. She thinks it feels very good and is becoming more trusting.Matisse needs a very patient and understanding person. She can either be a housecat, perhaps quite "hands off" for a bit. Or she can be a barn kitty, with shelter and love.Matisse would like to be with other kitties. It would be even better if one or some of her siblings can stay with her.Matisse is quiet, shy, but gets silly and playful with her kitty friends and with toys. Just remember, you don't need to touch or hold a kitty to love her. She'll appreciate getting out of the shelter, she's been here long enough. If you adopt more than one kitty, there is a reduced adoption fee.Matisse is now about 6 months old (in October), spayed, an vaccinated. If interested in adopting Matisse, please submit an adoption application at watonwan.weebly.com__________Please Note: We ask that an application be filled out before coming to the shelter.
