Domestic Shorthair kittens & cats in Mankato, Minnesota

We adopted Nyx in mid-August of 2024 from Camp Companion in Rochester, MN. We thought she would be a great addition to our home as she was described as shy and loving. While both of those things are true when it comes to human interactions, it quickly became clear that she has a dominate personality among our two other cats. While she gets along with our cat(M) well, she chases and corners our other female cat who is already very anxious. Nyx is always the aggressor when confronting our other female cat, seeking the other cat(F) out when in hiding. However, when Nyx isn't around our other cat(F), she is extremely loving. She likes to play and loves to be pet. She has the sweetest demeanor when only around humans and lounges around most of the time. She loves sleeping in cozy, mostly hidden areas. She also gives the best headbutts and loves to be pet near the base of her tail. It breaks our hearts to have to rehome her, but we realize all our cats deserve homes in which they can thrive.

Flroppy was adopted st the age of 2 (approx) to be a companion for our other cat Lucky. It is a love/hate relationship as Floppy is a lover whereas Lucky tends to play more. Se has had many years in a loving home but due to a change in health, relocation and a hectic schedule, I can no longer give her the care she deserves. She is extremelynsweet and talkative. She loves to lay near your whilte gets lots of pets. She truly deserves to be with someone who can give her all the love and attention she deserves. Floppy is a very chill cat who will tell you when it is time for food. I sometimes refer to her as dutchess as she seems to annouce her arrival. Floppy is not declawed and is not a fan of having her nails trimmed. I cannot even begin to say how very difficult the decision to rehome Floppy is but due to health and relocating, there just isn't another way. Please consider Floppy as a loving edition to your family.
