SAMMIE / 13 YEARS / DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR CAT Sammie sweetheart. ♥ She has a timid side, but will warm up to you with some pets and scratches. Sammie came to Grey Face Rescue due to her owner passing away. She has been around other cats and dogs, but usually keeps her distance and lets them know she wants her space. She would best fit in as a solo cat in the home where she can get attention when she wants it. Sammie has a playful side and loves wands, catnip, and little mouse toys.  Dogs: No Cats: No Kids: Yes Health Concerns: None If you'd like to adopt Sammie, please fill out an adoption application here: http://www.greyfacerescue.org/cat-adoption-application  May 16, 2024, 2:10 pm

MARBLE / 11 YEARS / DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR CAT Marble came to Grey Face due to her owner passing away. She's currently working on losing some weight prior to her spay surgery. She will be spayed prior to adoption.   Marble is looking for someone that can continue to feed her on a regular schedule and pay special attention to her diet, as well as help her continue to be active. She does love her naps though, laying on the floor and getting the occasional catnip treat. Marble also likes to be brushed and snuggle by your side. She would love multiple scratching posts and maybe some indoor grass, as she did go outside occasionally with her prior owner and loved the grass.  Dogs: No Cats: Yes Kids: Yes, older children Health Concerns: Weight If you're interested in adopting Marble, please fill out a foster application here:  http://www.greyfacerescue.org/availablecats May 16, 2024, 2:10 pm

Bonded, neutered pair looking for new home. Their caregiver died two years ago and have been living alone since. They are cared for daily but they deserve a better life. They are timid at first to new people, but they will soon open up and want lots of pets. They are very kind. They have never been outside,

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there! I'm Wilson, and I'm here to introduce you to a hunk of furry love. Okay, so my foster mom says I'm a little on the rotund side, but that just means there's more of me to adore, right? I started life as a stray, and my foster mom kindly welcomed me into her furry family. However, there's a small hitch in our household dynamics - the resident cats and I (all males) don't exactly see eye to eye. My foster mom tried her best to make it work, but it's become a tad too stressful for everyone, including me. I'm used to having the freedom to roam outside, so being kept indoors can be a bit tough for me. I love to watch the world outside the window and occasionally request outdoor adventures. If you have a catio or some safe way to let me enjoy the outdoors, that would make me one happy kitty! I have a bit of a defensive streak when it comes to most cats, probably because I've been a target in the past and had my share of injuries. So, I'd thrive best as your one and only furry best friend. However, if you have a dog who's cool with me, that could work too. I might be shy initially, but with time, I'll warm up and show you just how playful and affectionate I can be. While I'm not a fan of being held, I do enjoy curling up on laps and snuggling with you, especially at night. Oh, and I'm quite the food enthusiast, so mealtime is always a highlight of my day. One of the cutest things about me is how my head shakes in circles when I'm talked to or approached. It's super goofy and undeniably cute! In fact, here's a video of me for your enjoyment:   Good morning, Wilson!   My daily routine is pretty straightforward - breakfast, a preference for dry food, a few naps, play sessions, more naps, and of course, additional rounds of delightful meals. So, if you're looking for a loving, quirky, and somewhat round companion, I'm your guy. Let's make each other's lives more colorful and joyful. Reach out to make me a part of your family today!    Wilson is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *Bonded with Chunky*Introducing Brave, a docile sweetheart with the build of a broad-featured tomcat.  One glance toward his bashful eyes and you’ll know he’s a total softy!   Shy at first, Brave relies on his social-butterfly brother, Chunky, to pave the way for new acquaintances.  An intelligent observer, Brave takes a bit of time to understand new people before warmly engaging with them. Calm and measured, Brave's contemplative nature is reflected in his soulful eyes. Once he gets to know his human companions, he becomes remarkably engaging and affectionate, occasionally expressing his joy with cute little trills. Chin scritches and lounging time are among Brave's favorite activities, though he engages in short play sessions initiated by his brother's playful antics. Sitting in the cat tower, observing the world outside the window, is one of his cherished pastimes. In utter irony to his name, bashful Brave will hide under the covers in his bedroom when there’s a new loud noise or situation! It’s so cute to observe, he usually doesn’t stay long, but  sometimes Chunky will join him. He finds comfort and companionship in his brother Chunky, and both are eagerly hoping to find a loving and cozy home to call their own. Currently being fostered in Minneapolis alongside Chunky, Brave is ready to bring warmth and affection to a household that appreciates the unique charm of this thoughtful and gentle cat. Consider opening your home to Brave, and you'll discover a loyal and loving companion ready to share a lifetime of cozy moments with you. Because Brave is part of a bonded pair, he needs to be adopted with his brother Chunky. Click here to learn more about him! Brave is from an owner surrender with his brother.
