Story
*** FOSTER NEEDED!!! *** BERLIOZ / 13 YEARS / DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR CAT Berlioz is a really fun, friendly and social guy who loves attention from his people and a good snuggle in the evening. He still enjoys laser pointers and glitter balls and has been known to instigate more than one fight with an unknowing roll of TP! Berlioz is a very smart cat and with a fun and spunky spirit. He came to Grey Face because he was not getting along well with two new cats in the home. Dogs: No. Berlioz has had a few negative experiences with dogs and is now very scared of them. Cats: No. Berlioz would like to be the only pet in the home. He was around a pair of younger cats in the past but they made him anxious. Kids: Yes! Tolerant to young kids and will find his own space when needed. Health Concerns: Berlioz is currently on a limited ingredient (non-prescription) diet to regulate his IBS. He responds really well when he's exclusively fed this food.  If you're interested in fostering for Berlioz, please fill out a foster application here    http://www.greyfacerescue.org/foster  If you'd like to adopt Berlioz, please fill out an adoption application here    http://www.greyfacerescue.org/cat-adoption-application   September 29, 2023, 11:33 pm

Story
Winnie is a sweet girl who just doesn’t get along with my dog. She has food allergies which cause her to have hot spots behind her ears, I have found a food that she does well on! She is a very cuddly cat and has some random bursts of energy at times. I would love to see her go to a loving home with no dogs!

Story
I adopted Oreo from the humane society in St. Cloud , MN a little over 3 years ago. He unfortunately has moved a couple of times since being adopted. He also has a bit of a sassy attitude and would probably do better without any children or other pets. He’s kind of always wanted to be an outdoor cat, but I live in the city so it’s never really been an option. He’s all up to date on shots and microchipped. I would be sending him with all supplies and food that I have for him. He’s lately been causing issues in my household chewing on cords and what not. I want him to go to a home that is equipped to deal with him and still love him when he does such things, because I feel as though I am the only one out of 5 in my household that does. Please inquire with any questions.

Story
Gracie is a sweet and very lovable kitty-cat. I adopted her when she was 9 months old and she is now 12. We’ve shared a lot of life together. She has shared the animal attention in our household for the past 4 years with a very energetic Australian Cattle Dog. She’s handled him quite nicely. Gracie does have some special needs. She has arthritis and walking is difficult for her. She uses the litter box about half the time and the rest of the time it’s on the rug. We tried to protect the rug, but did end up replacing the carpet. Now we keep the litter box in the dining room which has hardwood flooring and I’ve not seen any accidents. I plan to take her to the vet soon to update her shots and get medication for her arthritis. I’m hoping that if her pain is managed, it will be easier for her to get in the litter box. Gracie is a lap cat. She will happily spend many hours snuggling in your lap, purring for all to hear. She’s worth every bit of extra handling you may have to do.

Story
We adopted Russell from a foster home when he was about 12 weeks old. He was found in the woods with his brothers. Russell was born in April 2017, so he's 5 years old. Russell is very playful, very energetic, can keep up with big dogs, and can play a little rough at times. He'll then turn around and be the snuggliest little ball of fur. He loves his snuggle time. His previous foster mom told us she believes his mother wasn't there to take care of the kittens long enough, so he still has a habit of "kneeding" and sucking on soft blankets that likely remind him of his mom. If you're wearing his favorite blanket, he will walk up the blanket and suck on it and kneed it as he falls asleep. Russell might do best in a home with no other cats, as he has been very dominant over our cat Mayla and can be too rough with her, and ideally older children. I believe firmly he can be trained to be an outdoor cat, he loves to climb and jump to high points and is very intelligent and athletic.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. CutieMeet Lucky, the spirited feline on the hunt for his purrfect home! Donning the name Lucky, though he could have easily been dubbed Flash due to his lightning-fast agility, this precocious little beast is on a mission to steal your heart. Lucky's future owner should be prepared for thrilling sneak attacks, whimsical pounces, and affectionate love bites from this mischievous mini marvel. You'll never know where Lucky might be lurking, as he enjoys hiding around corners to delightfully surprise his human companions. While Lucky may try to convince the world of his fierce side, his foster family has uncovered his true nature – the sweetest and most entertaining kitty they've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Cutie, another foster cat of ours, has taken Lucky under her wing and is taking it upon herself to socialize him. She is playful but extremely gentle with him. Cutie is so sweet to him and he both fascinated by her and learning to not be afraid of her. I would love if they could both go to the same home as Cutie is being Lucky’s emotional support cat right now.  To check her out go to: https://ruffstartrescue.org/view-pet/?id=19627555 Check out this cute video of him playing!   Lucky is an owner surrender due to an emergency move.
