Story
I got this sweet girl a little over a month ago as a companion for my first cat. While she is very loving towards me and other humans, she is not getting along well with my cat and it seems to be causing both of them a lot of stress. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. The shelter said that she is around 8 years old, currently. If you are looking for a cat that will be content on their own, she will be a perfect fit!

Story
I adopted Lemon from the Central Missouri Humane Society. She is a good cat but unfortunately, she is not compatible with my household. One of my roommate's cats hates her guts and bullies her nonstop. His other cat, who is sweet and chill, is unfortunately being bullied by Lemon herself. I don't think she is entirely incompatible with other cats as her foster owner mentioned that she did have some friends at the shelter, but any introductions will have to be done nice and slow. She is skittish and will run at the slightest sound, but this could simply be due to constant anxiety from the presence of the other cats.

Story
Halima is such a sweetheart, and a great lap cat. She purrs like a car engine and will want to be on or near you at all times. She’s incredibly tolerant of young children and has never bitten or scratched. In true kitten nature, she’s fairly high-energy and very playful. She loves any and all toys and foods, and is VERY food-motivated. She’s outgoing, cuddly, and has no litter box or behavioral issues. She loves our resident cat, and I imagine she’d be great with other cats. She does great with teeth brushing and nail trims! Unfortunately, although SHE loves our resident cat, he’s a little too calm to enjoy her kitten energy. She’d do great in a household by herself with lots of playtime or with other medium-high energy cats (or at least, cats who tolerate her own playful nature!)

Story
Hi! I’m Maze (Mazikeen) and I’m a young, feisty single mom of 3 looking for a new home! I came to live with my current humans only a few months ago after being abandoned to fend for myself. I was so hungry and thirsty and skinny! My new human has been so supportive and gave me a great place to have my babies! I’ve paid my rent here faithfully with lots of snuggles and purrs! My babies are just 2 weeks old and I can’t leave them behind. I’m very protective of them, especially when that other older female cat that has her scent everywhere here comes poking around. I don’t like her being anywhere near me or my babies, and I let her know she is not welcome! She says she was here first, but I don’t like her at all! My human has two huge white dogs that I’m certain will protect my babies from that spiteful cat, so I’m just fine with them being around me and my babies. I’ll even sleep snuggled up with them, knowing we’re all safe. Please help me find a new safe place for my family!

Story
Klipsi was born in May of 2017. Several months before the Eclipse that year, which is how I came up with her name. Klipsi was 2 lbs when I got her at 3 months old. She is now 8 1/2 and around 11 lbs. She is also special needs. Klipsi has to have phenobarbital ($18/mo) each day so she wont have seizures. She is also my ESA. The reason I need to rehome Klipsi is that I have a lot of medical problems. I am also having a lot of memory problems. I sometimes forget to give Klipsi both of her doses daily. I dont want her to start having seizures again because of me. She likes to just lay in my lap, the couch or look out the windows with Minnie, my 2 1/2 year old cat. She likes to play but Klipsi doesnt always want to. Klipsi can be stubborn sometimes and can be a little shy around people until she gets to know them. I just want Klipsi to go to a home where she will be loved like I have loved her since she was a kitten. A happy home where it doesnt matter that she is special needs.
