Loki does well as the only animal in the home but would do well with older kids. She truly is sugar and spice and everything nice! Miss Loki is on a special prescription diet for urinary issues. She eats her food without issue (she didn't get to be 15 lbs without a reason of course ;) ) but will need an adopter who can continue her veterinary care. She is currently housed in an office here at the shelter and quickly made herself right at home. She greets everyone she meets with a gentle purr and loves spending her time sleeping on the various beds and blankets she has available. Loki Monroe is sure to brighten up your house and home! You see, I have moderate/high level Cerebellar Hypoplasia, C.H. for short. C.H. is a neurological disorder that impacts my mobility. I wobble around, I fall down, and sometimes I am all over the place; this is why someone with prior experience with my condition would be best! My perfect home would be one that is single story, potentially with older children who would show me love, and one where someone will be with me most of the day. I do love bunny hopping into your lap and stealing ALL of your attention. I get along with other cats, but I am not fond of dogs. With my condition, either one other cat friend or being the only cat in the house, would be best. Someone who works from home or someone who is able to have someone home 24 hours per day would be ideal as I am VERY accident prone and could seriously hurt myself if I'm not monitored constantly. I would also need to be confined in a safe room at night when you're sleeping so I don't get hurt. All I want to do is play like crazy and cuddle you during the night!

Tarot is a beautiful 2 year old buff girl ready to find her forever home. Tarot came to H.O.P.E. with 16 other cats after their caregiver unexpectedly passed away. Being that the caregiver only came out to feed them, they were never able to form secure, trusting relationships. Since coming to H.O.P.E., Tarot has become more social, and comfortable around humans. We are still working on socializing her, and encouraging her to accept human pets, but we believe that given a patient family, she will blossom into a well-mannered cat. Tarot does have FIV, but it is well managed. FIV is only transmittable to cats through deep wound bites, so she CAN live with other cats. Tarot has shown interest in other cats (including kittens), so we think she would do okay with another cat in the house.
