Story
My name is Tortellini. I'm a 2 year old female who needed lots of medicine as a kitten which makes me unsure of humans. I'm shy, timid by nature and tend to run when I see humans. I do well with other cats and they keep me company. I would do best in a quiet home with experienced cat owners due to my reservations towards people. Someone that understands I may not come around to being a love bug of a cat, but one who likes to watch you, follow you but runs away if you try to give me attention. I do love cat treats and like to play with toys and lasers. I'll try to learn to trust you if you give me lots of time and patience.

Story
Hi there! I'm a shy 2 year old female beauty named Sissy. I like to observe my surroundings and will get more comfortable with time. I like to play with feather toys and love treats. I like other cats to keep me company and would do best with one in the house for me to be friends with. I am very unsure of new people. I will run and hide until I get to know you. I need a patient home that will give me the time and love to come out of my shell. Do you have the time and patience for me to open up to you?

Story
My name is Tobin and I have been looking for my furr-ever home since October '22. I'm 5 years old and I like to hang out in high places. I was found as a stray and am still adjusting to people and inside life. I do like treats but won't show you, they just disappear! I also like cuddles from my kitty friends. Tobin would do best with a quiet home who will show him the most love they have! He would benefit with having a kitty friend in his new home. Won't you give him a chance? Tobin more than likely will not become a lap cat but may come to tolerate sitting near his person. He would prefer a home where he live out his life and enjoy the company of other cats.

Hi my name is Brie, and I am a shy but sweet girl. Even though I am only 3 years old, I am a mom. My kittens have grown and gone to their own homes, but alas I am still waiting for my new family to find me. I start off shy, but if given time I promise I will be your best friend. I love sitting on the cat tree by a window to get the warm sun on me. My favorite things are kitty treats and cat nip. I get along with other cats, but I am not fond of dogs, so a home without dogs would be best for me. I am bonded with my best friend Penny, so we will need a home together. *Brie and Penny are in foster care, apply so you can meet them!*

Story
Hello friend... My name is Casserole, my friends call me Cass. I am a very sweet, special needs 3-year-old boy looking for the puuurfect home! You see, I have moderate/high level Cerebellar Hypoplasia, C.H. for short. C.H. is a neurological disorder. I am not in any pain, even though it may look like it at times. CH effects my mobility. I wobble around, I fall down and sometimes I am all over the place. This is why someone with prior experience with my condition would be best! I need a home that is preferably a 1 story house, as I will not do well with stairs and could fall down them. I would not do well in an apartment because I like to yell pretty loud sometimes. A home with older children would be best too, because I sometimes give love nips. I do love bunny hopping into your lap and stealing ALL of your attention. I get along with other cats, but I am not fond of dogs. With my condition, either one other cat friend or being the only cat in the house, would be best. Someone who works from home or someone who is able to have someone home 24 hours per day would be ideal as I am VERY accident prone and could seriously hurt myself if I'm not monitored constantly. I would also need to be in a confined in a safe room at night when you're sleeping so I don't get hurt. All i want to do is play like crazy and cuddle you during the night! I just need someone who understands me and my needs, could it be you? Casserole needs a home with a human who has experience with CH cats.

Story
Hi my name is Penny. I am a very young and super sweet girl who has lived through a lot so far. I was pregnant and rescued from a very bad hoarding situation. I love other cats but did not really know humans well at first. My foster parents gave me a very loving home in which to raise my kittens and now I am looking for my forever home. They have been very patient and shown me that humans are swell to hang around with. I love being pet now, and I have the softest fur ever. I purr a lot and also love belly rubs. Oh and to top it all off, I am super playful; my favorite toy to chase is a feather on a string (I just go crazy for it)! I am looking for a super nice and patient family to continue helping me on my journey to being the best feline companion I can be. I don't love being picked up yet, but my foster mom is continuing to slowly work with me on this. I would love a home with other young cat(s) to play with but probably not young kids. I have cozied up with my pal Brie for some time and we have become the best of friends. Brie and I are now bonded and need a home together. Will you be my new person? Penny and Brie are in foster care, apply so you can meet them!

*BOWTIE IS IN FOSTER CARE* *MUST BE ADOPTED WITH TOBRA* Hello, I'm Bowtie. I admit, I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat. New things make me nervous, and I tend to skitter away when I feel unsure. But give me a little time, and I'll warm up to you. I'm looking for a patient friend, someone who understands that trust takes time. I promise, I'm worth the wait. With a gentle touch and a soft voice, I'll learn to feel safe. And once I do, I'll be your loyal companion for life. I may not be the bravest cat, but I'm full of love. Story
Sweet Ruby Sue, a distinguished cat with a purrsonality larger than life. Ruby may be 9 yrs old, but she hasn't figured that out quite yet. This girl is full of spunk. Cute, sassy, quirky, silly, fun, playful, and sweet are just a few of the many ways to describe her. She has a personality all of her own, and while she is sweet as pecan pie, she also isn't afraid to tell you when she's had enough. Ruby Sue is curious about her surroundings, loves to play with phones, is always ready to watch birds and squirrels on Cat-TV, and has an affinity for cardboard boxes and bags- forget the beds, cardboard is the most comfortable thing! Ruby is tolerant of other cats. While she is comfortable around them, she truly prefers if they just do their own thing. She takes this same approach to dogs. Calm dogs that stay out of her way are just fine- but she isn't ready to be besties with them quite yet. Ruby embodies "main character energy" and is ready to be the star of the show. An experienced adopter would be best for the sassy queen, and a home without young kids is preferred. But, in the end, Ruby is jut looking for someone to love her for who she is- sass and all!

Hello there, I'm Bruce. I might seem a little shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll see my sweet side. I prefer quiet corners and soft voices, but I promise, I'm worth the patience. I may not be the first to greet you, but I'll be the one to stay by your side, offering a comforting purr when you need it most. I'm a great listener, and I'm told my purrs are quite therapeutic. I'm not one for grand gestures, but I believe in small, consistent acts of love. If you have room in your heart for a cat like me, who values the simple, quiet moments, then I might just be the friend you're looking for. Adopt me, and let's create a peaceful world together. Available at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
