I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County in an effort to find me a permanent home. When I was found with another kitten (Ellie), we were young, feral cats living in a local trailer park community. We would not have survived if someone hadn’t saved us and brought us to the HSofMC. I have made incredible strides when it comes to socializing. I still can be a little shy & reserved, but I love to play, run and hang with all the other adoptable kitties. I’m a beautiful tiger kitty with soulful, sweet eyes. I’m looking for my furever home where my humans can be patient with me so I can continue to blossom & become a forever, loyal companion. I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County in an effort to find me a permanent home. My siblings and I arrived as orphans, too young to be on our own and brought in by a kind citizen. I am one of the litters originally referred to as the ‘4 Tops’ that arrived in April 2024. After getting some much-appreciated love from our foster family I am now ready to take on life. I love, love to play and hang with the other cats here. I’m gentle, fun and love scratches, cuddling and all the attention I can get. Unfortunately, I hurt my back paw so I’m kenneled BUT I am scheduled to get that fixed up in January of 2025 and will be ready to go to my furever home after that. Despite being absolutely beautiful, I unfortunately hold the title of being the longest current resident here at the ARC since I’ve been with the HSofMC since August of 2023. I was found as a sick stray and brought in by a kind citizen. I am loving and affectionate and crave the attention of humans…but unfortunately, I don’t care much for other cats so the best setting for me would be a single cat household. I would make a great lap cat and bring great companionship to anyone after a long, hard day at the office. My name is Amber and I'm desperately searching for a new home. I was originally found in a box at the end of a driveway. I had suffered some abuse to where only 4" of my tail was left. I'm a bit of a loner and just need a place to land that doesn't have too many expectations of me. Just allow me to relax and settle in and even though I love affection it is for sure on my terms. A quiet environment would be best for me. Maybe a senior that is just looking for some company would work just perfectly for me. I'm not a dog kind of gal so a home with canines isn't my speed. I have been in rescue for a long time and no one has shown any interest in me. I am estimated to be about 14 years old. I know, your reaction will be one of sadness and you'll think oh wow, she probably won't find a home but I'm hopeful there is some wonderful hooman out there that will give me a chance at spending my remaining years in a home setting where I can just be me.
