Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       Andalou was found as a stray in Acton Vale before being brought to the Animal Rescue Network in April 2024. A kind person had taken the time to feed and coax him for several months before she was able to catch him and have him neutered. She subsequently realized that Andalou was sociable and therefore had the potential to live with a good family. Andalou didn't take too long to adapt to the shelter. He's a very gentle, affectionate cat. He has a lot of energy because he's still young! He sometimes shows us his beautiful belly as if he wants to be petted, but it's mostly to let us know that he wants to play and get into mischief! Andalou can be handled, but it's not yet his favourite activity. He could live with children and another cat if the space allows it and the other cat is very sociable. Otherwise, he would be better off being adopted as a solo cat. Andalou has developed food allergies and therefore eats a hypoallergenic diet. He takes daily medication (Apoquel) and may need follow-up visits to the vet. Who will be lucky enough to take in this beautiful black cat? Andalou is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within thr first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).   In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 18, 2025, 9:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Afin d'avoir une chance de l'adopter, veuillez remplir notre formulaire d'adoption directement sur notre site web:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/nous-contacter/formulaire-adoption/       Alphonse was found wandering in Mascouche before arriving at the Animal Rescue Network in August 2024. He was stressed and confused. After quarantining, we discovered that Alphonse is a carrier of the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). For more information about FIV: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv  Despite this, he can live a long and happy life indoors! He's doing well now and loves to cuddle. He's also very playful! He has a distinctive look with his little tongue sticking out. This is simply because he's had dental work and several teeth had to be removed. Alphonse is a little cat who likes to be in his own corner, but will probably get more comfortable in the right home for him. He gets on well with other cats too. He's discreet, but deserves to be known! Alphonse is an adult cat so the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. He is positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but negative for the feline leukaemia virus (FeLV). Health insurances are offered for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the help of the adoption team as long as you need it. You will also have access, for the first month following adoption, to a 30 minutes video consultation with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).   In order to get a chance to adopt him, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 1, 2024, 2:05 pm
