Billie est arrivée au refuge en octobre 2022. Dès son arrivée, elle s’est démarquée par son grand calme, un trait de caractère qui s’est confirmé au fil du temps. Aujourd’hui âgée de 4 ans et demi, Billie est une chatte attachante et très mignonne. Elle aime observer tranquillement son environnement depuis un endroit en hauteur, souvent bien installée dans son panier. Plutôt discrète dans le jeu, elle participe à sa manière : elle s’intéresse au pointeur lumineux, apprécie les jouets à canne et adore se rouler dans l’herbe à chat. Elle affectionne particulièrement les moments de détente sur un coussin, qui devient alors l’endroit idéal pour partager de douces interactions. Avec les personnes en qui elle a confiance, elle se révèle douce et réceptive, appréciant les caresses — notamment avec une baguette de massage — et se laissant de plus en plus approcher. Les gâteries et le crémeux sont d’excellents alliés pour renforcer ce lien et l’aider à s’ouvrir davantage. Billie apprécie également la compagnie de ses amis félins, qui semblent la rassurer. La présence d’un autre chat sociable dans son futur foyer serait donc un bel atout pour son bien-être et pourrait l’aider à gagner confiance plus rapidement. Un foyer sans jeunes enfants serait préférable. Elle préfère se retirer lorsque l’environnement devient trop agité, ce qui reflète sa sensibilité. Bien qu’elle demeure encore légèrement hésitante face au contact direct, elle progresse à son rythme et commence à tolérer les caresses, surtout lorsqu’elle se sent en sécurité. She enjoys quietly observing her surroundings from a higher spot, often comfortably settled in her bed. Rather discreet when it comes to play, she participates in her own way: she shows interest in laser pointers, enjoys wand toys, and loves rolling in catnip. She is especially fond of relaxing moments on a cushion, which becomes the perfect place to share gentle interactions. With people she trusts, she reveals a soft and receptive side, enjoying petting—especially with a massage wand—and allowing herself to be approached more and more. Treats and creamy snacks are excellent allies in strengthening this bond and helping her open up further. Billie also appreciates the company of her feline friends, who seem to reassure her. The presence of another sociable cat in her future home would therefore be a great asset to her well-being and could help her gain confidence more quickly. A home without young children would be preferable. She tends to withdraw when the environment becomes too busy, which reflects her sensitivity.
