Story
All hail Bast, our gorgeous little house panther named after the Egyptian cat god Bastet, protector of the home, guardian of good vibes, and patron saint of purring. True to his royal roots, Bast rules his kingdom (your couch) with kindness, grace, and a world class snuggle game. Once upon a time, this handsome boy roamed as a stray, writing his own mysterious origin story in the sands of suburbia. While we may never know his early chapters, we do know this, Bast has chosen love. He is incredibly sweet, delightfully cuddly, and will happily accept tribute in the form of pets, chin scratches, and cozy blankets. Bast prefers thoughtful diplomacy when expanding his empire. Slow, respectful introductions to new animal companions and human friends help him feel safe and confident. Once he knows you’re part of his royal court, he’s all in, loyal, loving, and ready to bless your home with his divine purr. If you're looking for a sweet soul with a majestic name and a heart of gold, Bast is ready to reign by your side. Adopt Bast because every kingdom deserves a little god of love. ⭐ If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours! ⭐

Story
Meet Leo Leo is a sweet FIV 2 year old kitty Don't let the "FIV+" label fool you—Leo is looking for a home, not a hospice! Despite having FIV, this sweet, loving, 2-year-old is ready to live a long, normal life with a family who will shower him with love. FIV is NOT a death sentence. It cannot be passed to humans or dogs, and it rarely spreads to other cats except through deep, biting fights. Leo would be perfectly happy as an only cat or living with other non-aggressive, fixed cats. What he really needs is a warm, indoor-only home. Leo is great with kittens. If you have room in your heart for a special, resilient friend, He is ready to make you their forever person! Story
❤️ Meet Fawn- your forever Valentine! ❤️Our 2 year old Fawn is a wonderful companion who enjoys spending time beside her human. This affectionate girl loves pets and is in all her glory when sitting on your lap. If she's not next to you, she's probably prancing around on her daily adventures around the house, checking out anything that might seem interesting. Oh yes, Fawn is a curious kitty who must know every inch of your home!Fawn would do great in a setting where there’s lots of space to roam about and where she can receive lots of attention. She is a fan of bird watching, catnip, and afternoon naps. She times her meals perfectly, and will happily remind you with a meow if you're behind schedule. She would do best with someone who picks up on her cues and appreciates her boundaries when she is ready to do her own thing. Same Fawn, same!  Fawn is ready to meet her match, don't miss your chance to fill out an application today!*You can meet Fawn at PetSmart in Warwick. Please avoid phone calls to the store, our team at Ten Lives can answer any questions you have. ___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Meet Ike! Ike and Turner are two bonded kitties that have always lived together, and would love to go home with each other. They would likely do well with other cats since they do so well with each other, and they did live with a smaller dog in the past so they have familiarity with dogs. They're both very gentle and sweet. If you are interested in Ike and Turner, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with them at any time.
