Story
We're sending a bat signal out, because Dark Knight 🦇 is ready to bring in the new year! This 2.5 year old justice driven vigilante will soar the cat condos as he keeps a close eye on the catnip mouse civilians below. His reward? Soft pets from his favorite person for being the best boy! Dark Knight has only been with us a short time but so far has shown us he is affectionate, gentle and sweet. He is a little reserved at first, but who isn't? Underneath that bat cape is a mellow boy who has great potential to be snuggly. He is looking for a calm, peaceful environment where he can settle in and be your forever superhero. If you think you could be Dark Knight's match, send in a bat signal application today!*You can meet Dark Knight at PetSmart in Warwick today. Please avoid phone calls to the store, our team at Ten Lives is the best source to answer any questions you have.___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Meet your new BFF's! Linguine and Luca are a bonded pair looking for a very special home, one that understands that love sometimes takes time. Both cats are shy and fearful at first and have had a tough time adjusting to shelter life. New environments and new people can feel overwhelming for them, so they will need a patient, calm adopter who is willing to let them move at their own pace. Expect a slow acclimation period, these are not cats who will immediately come out to greet visitors. With time, consistency and gentle care, Linguine and Luca do begin to warm up. Once they feel safe, their sweet personalities start to shine through in quiet, tender ways. They have no experience with children or other animals, so any introductions would need to be very slow and carefully managed. A quiet home with minimal activity would be ideal. These are very shy cats initially but for the right person, giving them the time and space they need will be incredibly rewarding. Adopting Linguine and Luca means offering them patience, understanding and a safe place to finally exhale. ⭐ If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an adopter profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours! ⭐
We'll also keep you updated on Linguine 's adoption status with email updates.

Meet Dena! STAFF FAVORITE Adoption Fee: $225 - includes transport Adoption Application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Beautiful, sweet Dena is a darling tuxedo kitten who was born in rescue on May 3rd. Her mama had three kittens, and while her siblings and mom have all found wonderful homes, this pretty girl is still waiting for her turn. Dena is a gentle, affectionate kitten with striking black-and-white coloring and the sweetest little personality. She loves to sit beside you and “chirp” softly for attention — it’s her special way of saying, “Hey, I’m here! Love me!” She’s also playful and full of kitten energy, especially when she’s chasing toys or running around with her foster friend, Romance (a beautiful black boy) Since she was born in a foster home, Dena is very well socialized and used to being around people and other cats. She’s been patiently waiting for a family to notice her — one that will love her, spoil her, and give her the forever home she deserves. Could you be the one to finally make Dena’s wish come true? Dena's Bff is Romance. Love doesn’t have to be flashy — sometimes it’s black, white, and full of purrs! Fill out an application today and bring home your new best friend—or adopt a pair for double the love! We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet. We have many adorable kittens to choose from—click our Petfinder link to see the full lineup and find your perfect match: https://www.petfinder.com/search/pets-for-adoption/?shelter_id%5B0%5D=AL450&sort%5B0%5D=recently_added We would love to see these kittens adopted in pairs, as they’re closely bonded and would thrive with a sibling by their side. Whether you’re drawn to the brains, beauty, or the bobtails, this crew has something for everyone. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime.
