Story
Meet Draco, a playful, quirky, and stunning three-year-old cat with a possible Bengal mix twist! He was dropped off as a tiny kitten at my office, and since then, he’s grown into a healthy, feisty boy who’s never outgrown his love for affection—or chaos! Draco lives for games of fetch with his green tinsel ball, climbs like a pro, and kneads like he’s running a 24/7 biscuit bakery. While he’s done well with other cats in the past, my dogs just won’t warm up to him, which isn’t fair to this lovable goofball. He has always seemed curious about my dogs and even teased them through doors and windows. He thrives best in a calm home where he can be the star of the show, or a supporting role, and get the love and playtime he craves. Because his playful style can get a little wild without toys, an experienced cat owner is ideal. Could Draco be your new mischievous sidekick?

Story
This incredible little guy was a starving street cat when we met last Summer. He would come to our back porch asking for love rather than food, & when we rescued him he was near death. He is now a fully healthy, house trained, happy, loving, and playful kitty. He loves absolutely loves his cat bed, chasing his tail, watching TV & is a professional biscuit maker. He gets the zoomies playing with his string toys & laser, but his favorite thing in the world is getting pets from us. Words cannot express how incredibly affectionate & loving he is, truly one of the sweetest cats you will ever met. :) He is FIV+. His vet has said he can live a long and happy life. He will just need some extra love & TLC with his vet care. He can be in a home (indoor only) with dogs, a solo household or a household with other FIV+ Cats. He is fully vaccinated, neutered & microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this absolutely incredible little kitty and becoming his forever family please reach out.

Story
Gray/white male DOB 4/12/2024 Brave and adventurous, Custard was found just days old inside a warehouse wall with his three siblings. Mama Katie went into rescue with them and has done a fantastic job raising them. All are well socialized and will do well with cats, dogs and older children. Custard loves the high perches and must participate in all activities. He will run to you when you come in the door and has been known to even jump onto your shoulder. He is extremely food-motivated so may not be best in a home with small children who tend to carry food around! He is not aggressive, but REALLY wants to share just about anything his foster mom is eating! Custard is friendly and confident, and should adjust nicely in just about any type of home dynamic! If the cat is under the age of 9 months old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $110 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please email Lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.

Story
Goose is a teenaged kitten that literally came knocking on the door of one of our volunteer's homes. After hearing the ruckus, our volunteer opened the door, and Goose waltzed right in like she owned the place! Calls were made to all the neighbors and local shelters, but no owners have been located, and there was no microchip. She is the most friendly young cat, loves to ride on your shoulders, is calm and confident in nearly every situation, and loves attention from everyone and anyone. Busy environments and barking dogs do not bother her. She would be the perfect cat to harness-train and take on walks or hikes, keep you company on road trips or in your office. If you know anyone who says they "don't do cats", Goose will change their mind! If the cat is under the age of 1 year old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $140 . covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend, so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary, so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible. Please email Lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.

Story
Silver and white tabby, male dob April 12 Blizzard was found inside the walls of a warehouse, born with his three siblings on dirty insulation. They, along with their mama, were rescued at only a few days of age. Blizzard is typical kitten and is the one who is last out of bed and first into a lap, happy to watch shenanigans from the sidelines until he can no longer resist joining in the fun. He can be a bit shy at first but is the most loving cat given a bit of time! Available for preadoption. If the cat is under the age of 9 months old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $110. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Story
Ash is a brown nose tabby born mid May 2023. Playful, loving, a bit shy, but so cute and can be verbal with the sweetest meow! She does great with other cats and would love a kitty fursibling. Would do best in a home without small children. Story
Henry is approximately 7 months old. He is bonded with his brother, Howard. Henry is neutered, his shots are current, he's chipped, and he's on flea meds. He is a spunky, adventurous, cuddly little orangie. He takes on my big cats frequently to play and is an absolute toy hog. He comes crashing in to play and be the center of attention. He has shown no aggression, only overexcitement. He loves pets and to be held like a baby. He purrs loudly all the time. He is an avid explorer but sometimes needs gentle reminding when he's adventuring out of bounds. He's fully liter box trained and eats a diet of both wet and dry food. He's highly treat motivated. He's the sweetest little man and needs to go to a home with his brother, Howard, to have as a companion. Anyone would be lucky to have them join their family.

Story
Howard is approximately 7 months old. He is bonded with his brother, Henry. Howard was taken for neuter, but he has an undescended testicle. His shots are current, he's chipped, and on flea meds. He is equal parts chill and adventurous. He's an intrepid explorer, unafraid to get in a bit of mischief along the way. He loves to play and cuddle with his mama, brother Henry, and foster siblings. Currently his favorite style of play is climbing and playing king of the mountain, but we're working on climbing in appropriate places. He gets along well with my big cats, and has been put in his place by my little dog, but he always get back up. He's fully liter box trained and eats a diet of both wet and dry food. He's such a good little man. He needs to go to a home with his brother, Henry, as a companion. He's a sweet man that loves pets, and has started cuddling with me on the couch.
