Story
Mittens is the sweetest, most gentle, and loyal cat ever. She gets along and has lived with other dogs (bigger and small) and multiple cats and has never had any issues. She loves to lounge around, receive pets, and spend time with her owner. I just found out I have to move within the week, and need to rehome her as soon as possible. It breaks my heart, but I am hoping so badly that someone out that can love her as much as I do.

Story
Want an independent kitty but one who also likes to play, is lap friendly and a HUGE cuddle bug? 😻 Meet Lucy! She is an adorable, loving and independent cat. Lucy is great for someone that is looking for an adult cat that likes to be petted but also doesn't mind being by herself. Someone that may work long hours and gets excited at the idea of having someone waiting for you at home. Or if you spend the majority of your time at home and want a low maintenance kitty, Lucy is your girl.🥰 Lucy will thrive in a home where she will be the only kitty. She has a unique personality - she doesn’t like being picked up or carried but wants to be loved by getting pets on the head and/or scratches in the ear/neck. At night she’s all about cuddling next to you. Lucy has beautiful golden eyes and a heart shaped spot on her side. Make sure to always have catnip because she goes into playful mode when given catnip! She can be very vocal and desires a lot of attention at times. She is very lap friendly and a huge cuddle bug. We can't wait to find Lucy, the girl with kaleidoscope eyes, her furver home! Check out my adoption video here: https://youtu.be/4Gww5jyjdfQ Please inquire by submitting an application here: https://bit.ly/3A9OOcx Total adoption fee is $275.00. We hope you’ll take a chance and apply to adopt. This kitty needs you! Three Little Pitties Rescue has been in operation for almost 4 years. We have transported and adopted out over 8,000 animals and have thousands of former adopters who keep in touch in our private Facebook group as a testament of high standards for animal vetting preparation and adoption placement. All animals are seen multiple times by a licensed veterinarian and are fully vetted prior to adoption according to our extensive medical standards. Lucy will receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel). Batman is up to date on vaccines according to age, has received proper deworming and flea prevention, is microchipped, combo tested, spayed, and comes with one month free trial of pet insurance if registered by adopter with the insurance company. We care deeply about placing our pets with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. Pooka Bear is a massive sweetheart and a big chunk (the best for cuddles)! ☺️ He is a healthy adult male cat and loves to cuddle, play, and climb cat towers.Pooka uses litter box well. Do you have other kitties at your home? Pooka does great with calm cats because he feels comfortable around mellow cats. In fact, he does really good with the resident dog! Sweet Pooka Bear is a friend to all 🐶🐱 Pooka Bear is an observer. He likes to sit in his favorite spot on the bed and watch everyone do their thing. It is great to know that Pooka is not aggressive. He’s a lover, not a fighter 💝 When other kitties are around the foster, he patiently awaits for his turn to receive pets. He loves his head and back to rubbed so much that he will purr and role on his side to show you that he trusts you! Pooka has a personality that is distinctive as his coat. He's a beautiful creature on the outside and a unique soul on the inside. It’s hard not to fall for a grey tabby cat like Pooka Bear. After a long day at work or school, he will go to you and lay down next to you to give you his comfort. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit cat and dog rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of cats and dogs from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption to match them to their purrfect family by having them in foster homes so that we can assess their behaviors, how they decompress in a home, and find out more about their unique personalities. We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Three Little Pitties Rescue celebrated our 5 year anniversary in March 2023! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Meet the beautiful Padme! Our sweet Padme is practically purr-fect and has been patiently waiting for a forever family of her very own!  She is also a certified lap cat. Her favorite thing is to cozy up with you and get pets while she purrs away. She can be quite the cuddle bug and would be an amazing addition to any family! If you want a kitty who will be your companion for life, Padme is the girl for you. She is happy just to be by your side (or on your lap) soaking in all the love you have to give. She gets along with cat friendly dogs and other kitties. She is very low maintenance and go with the flow. Due to her wonderfully carefree attitude, she would fit into so many homes regardless of their current members. Padme is FIV+ but that's nothing to worry about!  She can still have a happy and long life expectancy like other kitties. This just means that her immune system is compromised.  With standard regular veterinarian care, good diet, and inside living, there really is no reason that she will not live out a happy kitty life.  Padme is healthy and as happy as can be and being less than two years old there is no sign that she can't be that way for her entire life! If you have other kitties in your home, please read on FIV in multi cats households and to find out more about FIV and how to care for a cat with it go here: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv. Story
**Available for meet and greets in West Seattle, Washington!** Playful, pretty and 'Pet me!" This describes Nellie Petme to a 'T". Playful: This girl loves a good cat toy. Crinkly and bell balls are never safe with Nellie around. This girl is always ready to pounce! Her foster loves to watch her chase balls around. She keeps herself entertained, as well as, her foster. When she's not playing hard, Nellie is a huge fan of cat TV. Bugs, birds, squirrels, and blowing leaves keep her occupied for hours. A cat tree in front of a window and this girl is set! She did great with the first child she met whom she let pet her. We think with proper introductions and respectful interactions she would be fine with gentle children. Pretty: Tuxedo cats are always dressed up and ready to go! Her shining coat, adorable black nose, and unique markings make her a one of a kind! Along with her fancy dress, Nellie also has exquisite manners. She is gentle with no claws involved in her interactions. She gets along with other cats. She is a little concerned by her foster's dog, but may be able to adapt to a cat friendly dog over time once she realizes they are safe. 'Pet me!': Like in her play, she will make sure she gets pets, Your participation is much appreciated. As you pet, Nellie will walk back and forth to make sure that you get all of the good spots. She also doesn't quite do a flop, but she does lean until she's on the ground as she enjoys her pets. However, if you aren't available, she will rub on anything convenient. This girl loves her pets! This fun girl only needs 1 thing to have it all - a furever home! If you are ready to pet, she is ready to come home!
