Story
We found Thomas abandoned at my sisters house when he was a kitten. He is now 2 years old. He is super sweet and loves to cuddle but also wants his play time in as he is a young cat. He is great with our baby but unfortunately is not the right fit for our other dogs although we have tried. He gets along with dogs but is a little too rough on our very small miniature dachshund and our male dog is too territorial with him. Thomas, on the other hand thinks everyone is his friend and hasn’t met a pet he didn’t like. He is an exceptional mouser although we try to keep him inside so I wouldn’t recommend having him in a home with any small animals.

A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received.A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is lifesaving. Adopt Don't Shop.
