Story
Meet Keanu, a 8 month old Domestic Shorthair.Keanu is a delightful, tender-hearted boy who would thrive in a tranquil environment. He enjoys the company of other cats and would thrive in a household with feline companions. He is not particularly fond of being held, but he thoroughly enjoys receiving affectionate pets. Every now and then, he may even seek out your lap for some additional love. He kindly requests for some time to adjust to his new environment, allowing him to demonstrate his affectionate and endearing nature. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.

Story
Meet Ari, a three month old kitten found in a PetSmart dumpster zip tied in a storage bin!We can't fathom why anyone would do that to any living creature, let alone a cutie like her. She and her brother Adam enjoy snuggling, of the two she is the more shy one. However, Ari is incredibly sweet and we see her blossoming in a forever home. Please remember that Ari is a kitten and kitten behavior comes with the package. They need lots of toys and places to scratch to learn good scratching habits. They also need patience as they finesse their litter box skills in a new home they are unfamiliar with.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week!A Picture says 1000 words...right? Story
This is a courtesy post so please contact Loree directly at the phone number or email below Hello, my name is Gurdy! I'm 14 yo. I love snuggles and lap time rubs. I sleep a lot, I'm friendly with other dogs, cats and kids. My tummy is sensitive to chicken so I typically eat rabbit dry food. I'm also polydactyl and love it when you play with my feet! I've come from two very loving homes, one moved to Europe and the other is moving to VA to start a family! I love treats! I'll even go outside and sit in the sun with you on a nice summer day. I'm easy going and super affectionate with everyone! To find out more contact Loree directly at 804-386-9468 or Spriggs.loree@gmail.com ARRF has not met Gurdy and urge you to do your own evaluation
