Story
Mitt was adopted by my sister in Brooklyn, NY in 2012. She had Parkinson’s disease, and moved to PA to be close to me in 2015. She has passed away, and I have four of my own cats, otherwise I would take them. Mitt (and his sister Kitt) had been feral cats, and hecontinues to be skittish and shy with strangers. He has a couple hiding spots in the house, and is gradually becoming more trusting. He is extremely loving and sweet, and not at all aggressive. He has a sister, Kitt, who is deaf, she is much more outgoing, not shy at all. They must stay together. The house is going on the market this month, and I am desperate to have them placed in a loving, forever home.

Story
Olivia loves her cat tree. It's her safe space and she generally only comes down to eat and use the litter box. She loves other cats and is BFFs with her foster mom’s cat, and loves to watch the birds from the window. She is quite a talker and she'll have full conversations back and forth with you. She likes pets but gets scared easily so would do best in a quieter home with a patient family.  She has two different colored eyes.  Olivia is about 2 years old. All of our cats and kittens are examined by a veterinarian, Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP, dewormed for internal parasites, checked for external parasites, current on heartworm prevention/flea control, and have been spayed/neutered.  Adoption fee is $120. Story
Luisa is estimated to be 1 year old. She was trapped at a local grocery store and was pregnant. She delivered 5 kittens via caesarean.  The babies have found homes and it is time for her to find her forever home. She is a bit shy at first but is learning how to be an indoor only cat. She loves to be pet. She doesn't mind getting picked up but doesn't like to be held for long. She has come a long way since being trapped and will get better with a little patience. Story
Vapor just turned a year old. She was found at a local restaurant, and three weeks after she came into the rescue, she delivered kittens. She loves to play but can be a bit rough. She loves to attack things that move under blankets. For this reason, we would suggest she doesn't go to a home with younger children. Otherwise, she is a great cat, loves to be pet (for as long as she wants).  She gets along with other cats. She loves to lay in the windowsill and watch the birds outside. Her favorite toy would be an old T-shirt that she uses like a kicker. She also likes catnip mice, chasing laser dots, and spring toys. Story
Drizzy was originally adopted out as a kitten in our rescue 5 years ago and returned this year. The home Drizzy was adopted into when he was a baby went through many changes over the last 5 years which caused Drizzy to develop some struggles with anxiety. Because his living environment changed so often, Drizzy’s anxiety presents as fear in unfamiliar situations. This makes things like vet trips, new homes and also our adoption events more difficult for him than most cats. Though it takes time and patience for him to warm up, once he is comfortable and feels safe, you can see what a sweetheart he is. He is a wonderful cuddle buddy and gets along well with all of his house mates which, includes other cats and a dog. The ideal home for Drizzy would be a family or individual who is a homeowner not likely to move or have major changes to their living situation and has understanding that he may take extra time to adjust to his surroundings. Story
Please meet Winter. This mother has raised her 5 kittens and is ready to find her FURever home.  Winter has really come out of her shell the past couple months. Although she takes a little time to get acquainted with you and a new environment, she is a complete love bug.  She loves to get treats and purrs when her neck is scratched. She likes to chase balls and cat nip toys, the banana is her favorite.  She plays with other cats in her foster home and is fine to be around a calm dog. She would adjust best in a calm and quiet house. She will be a great companion and lap cat for the right adopter.
