Oh my goodness Otto! What an amazing little dachshund puppy – he is absolutely the sweetest little guy. And so smart! This sweet boy is a professional snuggle bug who loves lap naps and cozy blankets. He loves his crate too and goes in there regularly for some much needed snoozing after a busy day of play. He also needs as many blankets as you can give him. He loves to drag them from other locations in the house and roll around in them. He will completely cover himself up and roll around until he’s a little burrito 😊 He is fearless and curious but listens so well – one call of his name sends his little paws stomping and ears flying your way! I just can’t resist his requests to be cuddled either! Such a sweet boy! Surrendered to the emergency vet for having parvo and unable to afford the care. Too much for the family, a new sick dog. We dont know full story but suspect a puppy mill or pet store pup. We were determined to see this little guy through this awful illness. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
