Story
Travis is a 1.5 year old, 13 lb Dachshund mix. He has such handsome markings and soulful eyes. He and nine other small dogs were dumped in East Texas, and Humane Tomorrow took them all into our adoption program. Foster mom says that he is very calm, loves cuddles, and enjoys snuggling under a blanket. He is even starting to show his playful side. Travis will be timid at first, so he needs adopters who will be patient with him and give him time and space to build trust, a calm environment where he feels safe and secure. With love and consistency, he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you would like to give Travis a forever home that really does last forever, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Valentine is a four year old, 9 lb Dachshund mix. Foster dad picked her up from a vet hospital on Valentine's Day, so naturally her name is Valentine! She has been recovering from hernia surgery, but she had sutures removed, is cone-free, and ready for adoption. Valentine loves being in her new foster home and being around her foster parents. She gets along with her two foster siblings dogs, but thery are older and have no interest in playing with her. Valentine would love another dog to play with, but she would be great as the only dog if she gets lots of attention. She is good on a leash and loves to go on walks. She is crate trained but it's not one of her favorite things. She loves sleeping in bed with her fosters and burrowing under the covers. Of course she does, Dachshunds are champion burrowers! She has short hair and doesn't shed much. She will need to wear a sweater to go outside on chilly days. Valentine is sweet loveable dog and will make a great addition to just about any family. Please submit your application to adopt Valentine, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
