Story
Meet Onyx, a charming little puppy with a big personality. She may be a low-riding mix of Australian cattle dog, Labrador, and Basset hound, but that doesn't stop her from tearing around the yard at top speed, often outpacing her golden retriever foster sister. Athletic and energetic, she loves staying active both physically and mentally. Onyx enjoys the great outdoors just as much as cozy time inside, happily cuddling up for a movie or TV show. No matter your lifestyle, she's sure to be a wonderful addition to the family. She's available for adoption through www.dallasdog.org. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Howdy, I am Callum! I’m about 16 pounds right now and mostly legs! I’m still growing into them! Before I came into rescue, my mama, my siblings, and I were trying to survive on our own in South Texas. Life was pretty scary, and one of my siblings even fell into a drain! Thankfully, some wonderful people, including the fire department, came to the rescue and made sure every single one of us made it out safely. Now we’re all safe, loved, and learning what it means to just be puppies. As for me, I’m having a blast! I live with dogs of all sizes and ages, and I get along with everyone. I’m also cat-approved! I love toys and think they all belong on the floor, so I make sure to pull every single one out. If nobody wants to play, that’s okay cause I’m perfectly happy entertaining myself. I’m working hard on my potty training and doing really well. I always use my puppy pads, and when I need to go outside, I’ll head right to the door to let you know. I love being outside and soaking up the sunshine with my dog friends. Sunbathing is one of my favorite activities. I’m not the clingy type, but when I get sleepy, I do enjoy curling up next to you or sitting in your lap. I know how to sit for food and treats, and everyone says I’m such a good listener. I think they’re right! Mostly, I’m just a happy boy looking for a family to love. I’ve come a long way from surviving to thriving, and I can’t wait to find my forever home. Love, Callum ❤️

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Their story is one of those “this is why rescue exists” moments. This mom and her puppies were found running loose in South Texas, trying to survive on their own. At one point, one of the puppies actually fell into a drain, and the Donna Fire Department had to come out and rescue him. Thankfully they were able to pull the puppy out safely, and the whole little family is now on their way to us.

Story
This beautiful mama was part of a back yard breeder-hoarding case that brought her and 7 babies into the Dallas Dog family. Pekoe is a Dachshund/Jack Russel mix, just as sweet as can be but a little timid. She has few interactions with humans, just left outside to be a baby making machine. Pekoe deserves a life that provides soft beds, pampered care and lots of love. You can meet her by applying at www.dallasdog.org

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
'Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be' - Robert Browning Amora is a sweetheart with a heart full of love and just the right amount of senior dog energy. She enjoys walking around the neighborhood just as much as she loves staying indoors sleeping on the couch. She loves people, food, and naps...in no particular order. While Amora is crate trained, her laid-back personality doesn't really require it. This love bug is looking for a forever home where she can thrive as the only four-legged family member. In return, she offers a lifetime of tail wags, kisses, and cozy cuddling sessions. She is such a sweet soul. She happily will jump up beside you and press her little body close for pets and loving. She is super sweet, super calm and always ready for belly rubs. She seems to have some lab, terrier and dachshund as she has a long body and is a low rider. Amora is knee-high and 'knee-din' a home that will love her furever. She loves her stuffies and anything that squeaks. She is a sweet girl and loves her humans. This sweet momma was being given away for free with her 9 puppies. We always hate to see that and while we can't always do anything we were able to wrangle enough fosters to save this little family. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Howie (with his son Junior) were adopted five years ago when Howie was about 2. They are good at spending their days at home together while their human is at work and then cuddling on the weekends. Their human has gotten sick and won't be able to return home, so they are looking for a new home. They don't bark much, but Junior is good for alerting about things in the home. Howie is quiet and sweet. Junior has more energy and takes care of things. They don't chew up anything and require little care. They need some house training (for pooping only) and they will be great companions.

Story
Meet Rosie!! This super sweet, calm, girl LOVES her cuddles, snuggles, and toys! She loves watching TV and is very smart…..she’s a PRO at toy puzzles! She’s not a fan of being too crowded but she’ll go at it on her terms. She’s REALLY close to her sister Lilly, especially after losing her dad. She’s a really friendly girl and she’ll adjust fast. She’s potty pad trained but also uses the bathroom outside. If you’re interested in meeting Rosie and Lilly, please fill out an application at FriendsUnitedinRescue.com/adoptions
