Meet Sprocket! Sprocket deserves a fresh start and a family that will love him the way every dog should be loved. He was originally adopted as a puppy with the intention of being used for breeding. Sadly, Sprocket and his companion, Maisey, spent much of their lives living outdoors with very little attention or proper care. They were neglected and became underweight from not having their basic needs met. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor who has a soft spot for Dachshunds stepped in and asked if she could take them in. She provided them with the care and kindness they had been missing and then reached out to Mini Wonders Adoptions for help finding them the forever homes they truly deserve. Today, Sprocket is healthy, although still a little under weight, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to begin his next chapter. He has left his difficult past behind and is looking for a family that will cherish him as a beloved companion, keep him safe indoors, and give him all the love he’s been waiting for. If you’re looking for a sweet Dachshund with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love, Sprocket may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️🐾

Bonnie came to us as an owner surrender when her mom, a hardworking night-shift nurse, realized she could no longer give Bonnie the time and attention she deserves. Working long 12-hour overnight shifts meant Bonnie was spending too much time kenneled, which made this active little girl unhappy. Wanting the very best for her, her mom made the difficult but loving decision to help Bonnie find a family that could give her the life she deserves. Bonnie is a social, affectionate girl who absolutely loves going for walks, meeting new people, and spending quality time with her humans. She does well with other dogs overall, though she can be a little protective of her food. Bonnie also isn’t the biggest fan of grooming, but with patience and reassurance she will tolerate it just fine. Bonnie is full of personality — a sweet and sassy little girl who simply wants to be loved and included as part of the family. She is looking for a home where she can enjoy adventures, companionship, and plenty of cuddle time.
