HI -I'M NOMI! I'm a 5-year-old lovely Dutch Shepherd-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. My name means "beautiful" and "delightful" and it is so fitting, because I have a gorgeous brindle coat and a sweet face. I was rescued from a California shelter, and now have been waiting patiently for someone to notice me! I am gentle with people, and am friendly with most dogs, though I can get jealous at times. I would probably thrive as an only dog where I could get all of the attention, or hang out with a submissive male. I weigh 68 pounds. I would love a new home this year! Can you foster or adopt me? Hi there, I'm Dewey! I'm a 4 month old Male, Dutch Shepherd Doberman mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! If you're looking for rambunctious puppy energy, I'm your guy. I was originally transferred to Santa Barbara Humane from another shelter, but my friends here are getting me started with my basic obedience skills. I've been practicing my "sit" every day since I came here, and safe to say I'm pretty good at it. I'm still learning how to play with other dogs, though I love to play and wrestle with puppies and older dogs alike. I love anything food related and would love someone willing to teach me new tricks. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Hills will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission!

Oreo is a sweet, affectionate, and playful pup bursting with energy and love. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and loves to be by your side—whether that means cuddling on the couch or chasing a ball (fetch is her absolute favorite!). She gets along well with other dogs and is currently living with cats. Her playful energy can be a bit overwhelming, so a dog-savvy cat or cat-free home might be best. Oreo has a high energy level and needs daily exercise and mental stimulation to be her best self. She walks well on leash with guidance, though she may pull when excited—especially when spotting other dogs. She knows a few basic commands like sit, down, and wait, and she’s crate and house trained, though occasional accidents may happen when she’s anxious.
