Story
Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 11/2011 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: large Color(s): light tan / black Description:Hi, I'm Roxy, a beautiful German Shepherd X who is in need of a new home as three indoor cats are coming to live in the home and I am not good with cats. I also do not get along with other dogs, small animals or birds. I need to be your one and only.I enjoy my hips scratched, my chest rubbed, daily morning walks (I use a harness.) and Pupperoni treats. I don't care for biscuit treats much. I seem to like people and children as long as I don't feel threatened by them. The 4th of July is not my favorite holiday as fireworks scare me.I know people will pass me by due to my age and all the things I don't care for, but I hope there is someone who will see me for the special dog that I am. Please fill out an online application if you want to meet me.November 7, 2024, 11:05 am

Story
Available to foster or adopt!Breed: German Shepherd X DOB: 2/2020 Gender: female Altered: no Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): black/tan Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering, please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I’m Brownie, a very sweet and playful German Shepherd looking for my forever home. With a heart as big as the ranch I used to call home, I am an owner surrender, as my previous owner retired, moved to town and unfortunately can’t have dogs. I was surrendered with Roxie, a Cattle Dog X, but we don’t have to be adopted together. I'm a bit nervous when I meet new people, but warm up quickly. I'm still getting used to my new surroundings and not being around my person anymore. I am a loving companion who is full of life and loves children. I am housebroken, come when called, and walk well on a leash, making me the perfect partner for adventures. I am active and always up for a game or a good walk, but I also know how to relax and enjoy quiet time with my favorite people. With my affectionate nature, I will be a loyal and loving addition to any family. Other than living with Rosie, I did not see other dogs or cats on the ranch. Could you be the one to give me a new lease on life and a place to call home? Please fill out an online application to meet me. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving her the chance for a better life.February 19, 2026, 1:37 pm

Story
Chance is an amazing boy, given to me at 6 weeks old because he was sick and his prior owner couldn’t take care of him. He’s great with people and other dogs, incredibly sweet and affectionate, playful and confident. A happy boy with a helicopter tail for people he loves. He’s going to be an amazing best friend. He thinks my young shepherd is his Mom and they play non-stop! The post is defaulting to him being neutered within 30 days but I’d rather see it wait until he’s a little older (6 months at least). I love him and would keep him if I could, so am being very picky about his new Mom and Dad. I would want to do a home check and a foster trial for a week first, just to make sure it’s a good fit for both of you. Also, if you can’t or don’t keep him, he MUST come back to me. I know it’s a lot, but he deserves a lot and I want to make sure he gets it. If you’re interested, reach out and meet him. He’s an amazing, athletic, smart, loving boy who’s eager to please.
