Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Buzzard! This exuberant and handsome guy just gets so excited to be out and about! He needs a new home that can provide lots of structure, support and enrichment to handle his sometimes overexcited behavior. He tends to be neutral/avoidant with dogs, and he doesn't have any history with cats. We recommend that any children in the household be at least 10 years of age, can understand consent petting (pat, pet, pause) and that there is strong supervision with Buzzard when the children are present. If you're the one for Buzzard, please visit our Escondido campus! Excitable Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS VIDEO to learn more about them. Story
Meet beautiful Molly. She was found in the middle of nowhere, in the bones, and with too much fear, she tried to bite us until she could understand that we were not going to hurt her, we just wanted to help her, and she got on her belly, letting me know that she trusted me. She is a really sweet, intelligent, loving dog, she has too much love to give, and she needs to receive even more. She is a very loyal dog, and tends to dance with her front paws when she gets excited. She gets excited when she goes for a walk, she likes to see new places and sometimes she is a little shy at first with strangers but she understands quickly when people don't want to hurt her. On the contrary when she knows that people are a threat to her or to you, she is very protective. She gets along well with very few male dogs, she is dominant and does not usually play with other dogs, but she gets along very well with adults and children, she would be ideal for a family with small children, she knows how to measure her strength, and she is not at all rude with babies. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
How this pet arrived:Kiara was brought in by a community member on February 14, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Kiara, a charming canine who found her way to us as a stray. While her past remains unknown, one thing is clear: Kiara is a dog who enjoys human connection. She's a social butterfly who adores attention, happily resting her head on your lap for pets. However, Kiara can be reactive towards other dogs, so she's seeking a forever home where she can reign as the sole furry companion. Her exuberance sometimes translates into jumps of excitement, so a household without young children would be ideal; it's not super common, and she has done well with ten and twelve year old's in her foster home! Nevertheless, Kiara's zest for life is infectious -she loves to frolic and play fetch, and she's a smart girl who will sit for treats and can't wait to learn more tricks! If you're ready for a loyal friend to share your adventures, Kiara is waiting to join your family and fill your life with joy! Come ask about adopting her today!
