THE MORENO VALLEY SHELTER IS OVER CAPACITY - ADOPTERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY. NO MORE SPACE! WE ARE COURTESY POSTING THIS DOG FOR THE MORENO VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER TO HELP THEM FIND A HOME. The shelter is severely overcrowded with low adoptions in that area. More dogs are being turned in faster and in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate. We are helping get the word out of their immediate need. Please do not this deserving dog perish - it becomes life or death when kennel space is needed. Please be their hero! I adopted Raya as an adorable puppy in October 2020 from Baja Dog Rescue. She is 3 years old and a sweet dog. She is crate trained, she loves her crate and sleeps there every night! She loooves other dogs and is obsessed with the humans in her "pack." Raya is also great with kids! She is athletic and loves to run and play, especially at the beach, but not big on toys or fetch. She is well trained and knows basic cues. Raya is highly food motivated and learns new tricks easily. However, she is quite protective and will bark at anyone/thing who she doesnt know that comes to the door, but never barks when out on a walk. The reason I need to rehome her is that I started a new job and I'm not able to give her the attention and mental/physical activity she requires.

Maisy is a 1 year old, 40lb, beautiful Shepherd mix. She is such a fun, intelligent pup! Maisy is playful, curious, and focused. She is constantly figuring things out from new tricks, to opening doors, to bringing her water bowl to the sink to refill (which is empty because she loves to splash in it)! She loves water and would love to have a pool or take trips to the beach! Of course, she would enjoy activities without water as well such as hiking and exploring. Maisy also loves toys. She collects stuffies or tree branches and rolls around in her treasures! She really needs an active home and would love someone to teach her more! She really bonds to her person who gives her direction and likes having a leader. We could imagine her becoming a great obedience or agility dog! She enjoys having a job to do! Maisy is already housebroken, crate trained, and does well in a car. She is friendly with new people and even does well with kids. She gets along with most dogs and did great at a dog park but can be dominant and pushy with other dogs. She loves to run and enjoys being chased by her pup pals. Maisy lived with cats in her previous home but has been a little too interested in our kitties so we think she would do best in a home without cats. Maisy is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
