He is friendly and affectionate with people and has shown us just how thankful he is to have a second chance at life. While at the shelter, Feather did well when a dog -to-dog interaction evaluation was conducted with another his size (**Please keep in mind that dogs that pass the evaluation process does not necessarily mean they will get along with every single dog. Dogs and their evaluations are based on the chemistry that they have with the particular dog they are with.) As he settles into life at the Ranch and gets comfortable with his new routine, we’ll work on finding him a compatible playmate. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. Maggie is very sweet,affectionate and beautiful. Very good manners in the home. She gets along well with big dogs, children and adults, but reacts to small dogs. I am 76 and live in a mobile home park where everyone has a small dog! I found her on Craigslist. Her foster mom’s landlord didn’t allow her to have 2 dogs. Maggie is 2 years old and has no separation anxiety when I am out and about and she loves to ride in the car.

Carly is a sweet baby who just needs a loving owner who can tend to her needs. Carly gets along very well with other dogs. She is pretty shy and nervous around people at first, but once she trusts you she is incredibly sweet. While we don’t know her exact breed, we believe she may be a Shepherd mix. She loves her toys and treats them like they are her babies. She loves long walks and lots of cuddles. She is very smart and learns commands quickly.
