She was found in the middle of nowhere, in the bones, and with too much fear, she tried to bite us until she could understand that we were not going to hurt her, we just wanted to help her, and she got on her belly, letting me know that she trusted me. She is a really sweet, intelligent, loving dog, she has too much love to give, and she needs to receive even more. She is a very loyal dog, and tends to dance with her front paws when she gets excited. She gets excited when she goes for a walk, she likes to see new places and sometimes she is a little shy at first with strangers but she understands quickly when people don't want to hurt her. On the contrary when she knows that people are a threat to her or to you, she is very protective. She gets along well with very few male dogs, she is dominant and does not usually play with other dogs, but she gets along very well with adults and children, she would be ideal for a family with small children, she knows how to measure her strength, and she is not at all rude with babies. Just look at this precious girl, she's not only beautiful and sweet she's smart and oh so loving&#226&#157&#164 Her foster mama says "when she loves you she loves you hard" Nova, is professionally trained so she needs an experienced owner that is willing to keep up her skills. She's a wonderful playmate with the puppies that come into our rescue, but as all dogs she must be introduced properly. Nova, thrives on love and attention so we would prefer her to be an only dog. She wants to be your cuddle bug and protector, she loves her people immensely. She's a big strong dog who doesn't realize her size. She would do best in a home with no young children. She loves hiking and playing fetch so she needs a large yard. Are you a pack leader, who can provide Nova with love and structure? Because this is what Nova needs to thrive! I love going with my foster family to the park, hiking and boy do I love the beach and to Home Depot where I get lots of love and belly rubs. Lol My foster mama says I'm a ham. Hahaha. I'm smart, know how to sit and wait for my treats, food, veggies and fruit and I'm oh so eager to please and learn. I honestly can't tell you enough about Kitana!! There isn't a person, kid dog or cat she doesn't love!!! She's respectful and oh so sweet, if you allow her to sleep on your lap she will definitely take you up on it. She's a great companion to anyone that would love and cherish her sweet disposition. She's adored by all our other rescue dogs and puppies, oh how they have a blast playing with Kitana.
