Story
The two photos show how her fur changes color in the Sun versus in the shade. Vivian is the biggest love bug you will ever meet, she adores affection and attention. She lived a very rough life on the streets and was written off by many other rescues as unfavorable because of her advanced abscesses and sexually transmitted cancer that she was facing. The recommendation was to euthanize her. Thankfully her advocate contacted us and with the help with our skilled veterinarian team we were able to save her! She is now ready to start the next chapter in her life cancer free!

Story
Balsam is a playful, friendly, and slightly aloof Dutch Shepherd mix puppy with a huge personality (and massive paws to match!). He loves running around and is learning the ropes of puppy life. This big goof would thrive with an older dog sibling to teach him the ways of the world and show him how to be the best puppy ever. His temperament is mild, affectionate, and curiousâ&#194&#128&#194&#148he's just figuring out life and needs a patient human to help him learn basic manners, engagement, and social skills. Balsam is all about fun, exploration, and friendship, and his massive paws are really just a clue to the even bigger heart inside. He's a loyal, goofy ball of love in training, ready to grow into a fantastic companion. If you're looking for a playful, loving, and slightly clumsy puppy with a heart as big as his paws, Balsam's your boy! All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Hello! My ex-wife and I adopted Brisket from Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento when she was under a year old. She's 5 now and the shelter believes she's a Dutch Shepherd mix. She's fully house-trained, has never had an accident, and doesn’t destroy anything except her toys. Brisket is generally good with people but can get anxious in loud environments (parties, live music, construction) and has nipped at someone before. She barks at outside noises or deliveries with a deep bark, but stops after a few seconds. At home, she’s okay with other dogs as long as they don’t bother her; if they do, she’ll growl or slap them. She also has some leash aggression when approaching other dogs during walks. Brisket is very loving but has always been a bit fearful, though she’s improved over time. She’d likely do best in a calm home with someone who enjoys playing and cuddling.

Story
Meet Brian, the brindle Dutch Shepherd who proves not all Brians are the same! Unlike the Simpsons version, this boy is all wiggles, grins, and delightful mischief. He’s the fun-loving, slightly naughty sidekick you didn’t know you needed.Brian is that perfect combo of handsome, intelligent, and loyal—a dog who learns quickly, bonds deeply, and keeps life interesting. He’s way too busy having fun.)Whether he’s showing off his happy dance, trotting proudly at your side, or flashing you one of his trademark smiles, Brian brings a spark of joy everywhere he goes. He’s ready for hikes, yard play, and all the excitement you can throw his way.If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts brainy, bouncy, and bursting with charm, Brian is your guy. Come meet him and let the adventures begin!Brian has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  He`s also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.   Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Good with kids, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This sweet dog is about 10 years old. He was recently left behind when my coworkers had to move to another state quickly. I’m trying to find a home for him because he’s been living in their yard since they’ve left. He has food and water but no indoor place to stay. He did seem to be a little lost mentally. When he was a puppy he was victim to the hayfork fires and inhaled a lot of the smoke from the burning marijuana farms. His owners told me that they believed that’s the reason he is a little slow mentally. He is very sweet though. I just really want to find a home for him so he doesn’t have to sleep outside anymore

Story
We got Zen from the pound when she was a puppy. She is approximately 3 years old now. We are looking for a new home for her because we feel she would be happier in a family where she is the only dog. Zen was food aggressive and would resource guard water and toys as a puppy. We currently have a 5 year old golden retriever as well, which for the most part they get along very with each other. Zen goes for walks, plays in the pool, runs at the park. Overall she is a sweet girl and would do great in an active family that goes on long walks, visits parks, or anything outside. More about her and her personality: - Husky/German Shepherd mix. - Social - Potty Trained. - We’ve spent time training her, she knows: sit, stay, spin, drop it, shake, come, and leave it. - She is kennel trained. She is a great guard dog. She has protected our fruit trees from many critters and always alertive. We’d be more than to answer any questions or give more information about her personality.
