Story
Nova is a vibrant 5-year-old Purebred Dutch Shepherd seeking a new loving home. Nova is an energetic companion who thrives on playing fetch. Her playful spirit for life make her an ideal companion for someone who enjoys staying active and engaging in outdoor activities. Regrettably, Novas family must find her a new home due to the presence of infant children in the household. As such, they seek a loving family or individual without children or older kids who can provide Nova with the attention and care she deserves. Nova enjoys outdoor adventures and would make an excellent companion for someone who enjoys walks, hikes, or playing fetch in the yard. Nova is fully house trained, eliminating the need for a crate. She understands and respects boundaries within the home. Nova is accustomed to using a dog door and has all-day access to the outdoors. Novas new home must be in a house with a secure backyard. This will provide her with the space she needs to explore.

Story
Lukas is a beautiful 2 yr old Dutch Shepherd. He is very energetic and loving towards people. He doesn't do so well with other dogs, though! He is very playful and can be 'play aggressive' towards other dogs. He would be best in a home where he is an only dog or he may do well with a female who is comparable size and age. He needs an experienced owner familiar with the breed who will spend time training and making sure he has a 'job' to do, as he is very active and intelligent. He will need a large fenced yard.

Story
Hello, my name is Duchess! I am a very sweet lady who is looking for a home to call my own. I can be kind of picky with other dogs so I would prefer to meet new furry family members before going home. I really enjoy my walks and think that hiking this summer sounds lovely. If you would like to come and get to know me better please give the shelter a call at 719-686-7707. I can't wait to meet you!

Raven is 7 months old who needs an active loving home that can give her lots of attention. She loves to cuddle and give nose kisses and knows sit, up, and crate. She is good around cats and minds her business and is gentle with kids. She is teething and needs some guidance, but she really is a great dog and listens well. With a dual military life we can not give her the attention she needs and are heart broken to re-home, but know she needs more.

Story
My wife and got Koda from a family friend when she was a puppy. We recently moved to CO and we recently just had a kid. We have a lot on our plates now and we do not feel like we are capable of giving her the ultimate experience as being a part of our family. Koda is currently 3 years old and loves to play and go on walks. We just ask that whatever home she goes to has enough love and space to comfort her.
