Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! 🤎 Meet Changity! 🤎 Also known as "Chickity China the Chinese Chicken" according to his foster mom. 😂 Changity is now 6 months old, and this handsome guy has come such a long way. He’s still a shy boy when meeting new people, but once he realizes he’s safe, he is the sweetest, most affectionate little guy. He loves being close to his people and would happily spend his day right by your side. He’s fully potty trained AND crate trained, and he’s doing great on regular puppy food now — no more prescription diet needed! 🙌🏼 Changity is great with other dogs and would really benefit from having a confident, friendly dog around to help him continue building his confidence. He’s naturally gentle and submissive and does best when he has another dog to show him that the world isn’t so scary. He is fearful of children, so he needs an adult-only home. He can also be nervous around men, but he does well with slow, patient introductions and given the time to warm up on his own terms. 🤎 Green Flags: ✔️ Fully potty trained ✔️ Fully crate trained ✔️ Great with other dogs ✔️ Sweet, affectionate, and cuddly once he trusts you ✔️ Gentle and submissive ✔️ Has made a lot of progress with his confidence 🤎 Things to Know: ✔️ Adult-only home ✔️ Fearful of children ✔️ Nervous around men, but does well with slow introductions ✔️ Needs someone patient who will let him warm up at his own pace ✔️ Has a history of seizures and is on Keppra 🤎 His Ideal Home: Changity needs a calm, patient adult home that understands that trust takes time. He isn't going to be the dog who immediately runs up to every stranger with a wagging tail, but once he decides you're his person, you're going to have a very loyal little shadow. A confident, friendly dog in the home would be a huge bonus for him. More than anything, he needs someone who won't rush him and will continue helping him learn that new people and new experiences aren't something to be afraid of. He's already come such a long way. Now he just needs the right person to help him keep going. 🤎🐾 ***PLEASE NOTE: Changity has experienced seizures in the past and is currently on Keppra. He has been doing well and will need his medication continued as prescribed. His medical history and seizure management can be discussed in more detail with interested adopters. Interested in Changity? Please submit an application to learn more about him and his medical history! Adoption FEE: $350, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. Not house trained and has some accidents in crate but is good in it otherwise and walks good on/off leash. Wonderful recall and follows commands well. Lives on working farm with horses, cows and chickens so is used to the fast pace but still has a prey drive for the birds. Same gender aggressive and a little more shy than his siblings he'll need someone to take the time to socialize him. Single pet household is preferred at first.

Story
5yr old Daisy is looking for a new home! No fault to her own just do not have the time she requires. Very energetic and playful! Wonderful manners in her crate and on/off leash but is not house trained. This ball of energy needs lots of exercise and will need to be socialized with new people and animals. She does live on a working farm around horses, cows, and chickens so she is used to a busy environment. Wonderful recall and follows commands well. Currently same gender aggressive and has a very high prey drive so she would do best in a single pet home for now. Easy to groom and handle, she is a lovebug who just needs some extra time spent with her. Picture is her(smaller) and her brother Bear who is also available (also trigger and blue) She could be adopted along side any brother

Story
5yr old Blue is ready for a new home! No fault of his own just needs more time spent with him. What a people pleaser! He's a huge goofball and cuddler who loves playing fetch. Very well manned in cage and on/off leash but is not house trained. Wonderful recall and follows commands well. Lives on a working farm around horses, cows and chickens so he's used to a busy environment but still has a prey drive for the birds. Will need socialization with strangers and other animals so a single pet home would be best at first. While he doesn't need someone with experience with the breed he does have aggression with the same gender dogs and will need someone who can work with him on that and give him plenty of exercise.

Story
Meet Cookie, a true sweetheart! She is a 2yro Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family. Cookie has a neutral temperament and is well mannered at home and when out on adventures; she walks well on leash, is crate trained, potty trained and knows basic commands. Cookie does well with women, children and dogs- she makes an amazing playmate! She can be aloof towards unfamiliar men, but does live comfortably with her Foster-Dad and previous male-owner who surrendered her before moving away. Cookie is healthy, spayed, and up to date on vaccines and vetting. Cookie will need a committed owner who will meet her high energy needs and reinforce training- ensuring play time, long walks, and occasional adventures. To adopt Cookie, please apply at www.playk9resuce.org For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long group training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history.
