Roxy's endearing personality makes her a gentle giant, though she has a tendency to guard meat bones, so it's best to avoid giving them to her. She also does not like being confined to small spaces, so a home with a large yard would be best. Attention all working dog lovers!! Loki is an almost 3 year old, pure-bred Dutch Shepherd (a type of Belgian Malinois). He comes from a long line of working dogs bred for police K-9 work and has many of the traits associated with those dogs. He also has a fair bit of anxiety that makes him unsuitable to work as a K-9 but he is most definitely not a pet. He needs a home with a handler who is familiar with working dogs and the type of life they need; working every day, training in scent work and tracking, being handled by someone with a firm control of every aspect of his life. He does not do well having free reign to make his own decisions, he needs a strong leader making those decisions for him. It must also be noted that Loki DOES have a bite history, having bitten his owner in the past when his anxiety hit an unbearable level for him. He is not aggressive, but if not controlled, he can lash out when he becomes anxious. His owners have trained him extensively and he has the potential

Skye is always smiling and absolutely loves the people she's decided are her friends. Once you're on Team Skye, you are in! She is all about big adventures, going on walks, and exploring the wide-open world. She does amazingly well on a leash, making her a good hiking buddy. Once she gets to know you, it is constant cuddles. Skye needs you to be her pack leader and to let her know everything is good, to be ready for her to look to you for direction and respond to your moods.
