Story
Hi Great Dog Lovers out there! We are courtesy posting a lovely dog for an amazing local Cleveland Rescue Group. This dog's a beauty! A Dutch Shepherd (these lovely dogs originate from the Netherlands, how cool is that)? Meet Ruie Sweet, Energetic Young Female seeking forever home. Looking for a loving home for a playful 1.5 to 2-year-old female who needs a caring person ready to help her reach her full fantastic potential. Despite being left at the kennel by her original owners this enthusiastic girl did not let that get her down and was excited when her new owners rescued her. With every good intent her new family found out that she needed more attention than their busy lives can provide at this time, and they want to do right by her. She loves soaking up the sun, going for car rides, snuggling on the sofa or just being her super playful and athletic happy self. She has lots of love to give, and is smart and sensitive at the same time. She would thrive with someone who can give her the dedicated time to love, mixed with exercise. Ideal home would include: -Experience with young, active dogs. -Commitment and patience to positive reinforcement training. -A secure fenced yard for play and exercise, she is athletic and can jump lower fencing. She's great with people and has been to doggy school learning the basics. This pup has so much potential and love to give, ready to be your best friend ever. Rehoming Post: Application and home visit required, rehoming fee in the form of a donation to SEHS. For inquiries please call Deb with SEHS at 216-225-5526.

Story
Meet Brooks!! This handsome hunk came in as a stray on 12/4/25, and we think he’s about 2 years old. Brooks is absolutely gorgeous — and a big guy — but no one has told him that! He has no idea how large and strong he is, which becomes very clear when he decides your lap is exactly where he belongs. Brooks hasn’t quite mastered personal space or polite manners yet, but he is smart and eager to learn. With guidance, structure, and someone willing to teach him, he’ll blossom into the well-mannered companion he’s meant to be. Brooks is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet this lovable goofball! Brooks is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH 📞 419-774-5892 It is an application process — you can request an application at dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov

Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Camille, better known as Cami, is a Belgian Malinois with a heart as big as her brain! Born around 3/12/25, this girl is brilliant, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. She is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids. She truly adores children — especially her “small humans,” who she loves to snuggle up with whenever she gets the chance. Cami is already potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She plays fetch, takes treats gently, and is an absolute wizard at puzzle toys. Her intelligence really shines — she has even tried agility courses and done amazingly well! This is a dog who loves to learn and thrives when her mind is engaged. Cami is also a big fan of chewing on bones, cozy cuddles, and being close to her people. She bonds deeply and loves hard. Because of her past, Cami does have some separation anxiety. As a very young puppy (around 5–6 months old), she was used as a guard dog in a warehouse and was found wandering alone multiple times by animal control. That early instability left her worried that when her people leave, they may not come back. She is working hard on this and improving, but she will need a patient, understanding family who can offer consistency, reassurance, and lots of love as she continues to build confidence. Cami would do best in a home with consistent routines, mental stimulation, and people who are committed to helping her feel safe and secure. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty, affection, and joy. Cami is a truly special dog — sweet, smart, loving, and full of potential. With the right family, she’s going to absolutely shine If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Scooter is a 3-year-old Beagle/Shepherd mix weighing 47 pounds who is looking for his forever family. This sweet boy came to the rescue very underweight, and thanks to lots of care and good meals, he’s slowly gaining weight and starting to come out of his shell. Scooter already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning, especially if toys or treats are involved! He walks nicely on a leash and is working on his potty-training. He loves playing with toys, happily chewing on bones, and then winding down for some quality cuddle time. One of his favorite things is simply being part of the family—he wants to be included in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s playtime or a cozy night on the couch. Scooter gets along well with other dogs but has not met children yet. He is currently very curious about the cats in his foster home and is learning how to co-exist with them peacefully. Affectionate, loyal, and full of love, Scooter is a snuggler at heart who’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will fill your home with love, Scooter might just be your perfect match.
