Story
Meet Karma – Your Future Best Friend Karma is a beautiful German Shepherd with a heart as big as her personality. She is incredibly sweet, highly intelligent, and extremely treat-motivated, which makes her a joy to train. She learns new skills quickly and truly loves having a person by her side — companionship is one of her favorite things. Karma is playful, affectionate, and full of life. She does wonderfully with other dogs and is great with children of all ages. She even shows interest in trying to play with cats, and she plays appropriately with the other dogs in her foster home. Despite coming from a questionable past with severe and traumatic injuries, Karma has proven to be remarkably resilient. Her past has not made her fearful or withdrawn — in fact, she seeks out human contact and remains loving, trusting, and eager to connect. It’s nothing short of a miracle how much love she still has to give. She adores her toys (especially stuffed ones — though they may not survive long!) and brings a lot of fun energy into the home. In training, she already knows sit, down, and focus, and she thrives when given a job to do. Continued training, enrichment, and structure will help her reach her full potential. Karma is looking for a family who will enjoy her playful spirit, continue her training, and give her the love and stability she deserves. In return, she will give you loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of companionship.

Charli 9 mos ,german shepherd mix, very puppy. She is very sweet & loveable. She will cuddle with you & sleep with you to keep you warm. Very active , so a home with kids and a active life style would be great. She knows commands & is housebroke. I got her as a rehome . I thought I would be able to keep up with her & have time. But that didnt work out for us. So if you looking for a loving dog she might just be the one. 50.00 rehoming fee.

Story
I have not met a more social pup than Sahara! This girl is all about having a good time with her humans and doggies :D She greets you with a jump or a hug. If you lower your face to hers, she thinks nothing of lathering your face with kisses. She also loves to randomly hug you. She is adoringly affectionate! Sahara is the same with dogs. She loves all dogs. She gets into crazy plays with them. She has been known to shape shift through openings in fences or gates to play with the neighborhood dogs 🤦 She has a love for exploration. She must be a Sagittarius 😊 She has a mostly reliable recall so that’s a huge relief! On walks, she pulls initially because she is so excited to be out and about but she does calm down minutes into the walk. She loves her walks. This girl is a natural explorer. She is a curious girl. Sahara is indifferent to toys. She prefers to be engaging with her humans and doggie friends. She gets excited when you get excited even though she has no idea what the excitement is about. She hops around like a crazy girl because you are happy about something 🤦 Sahara takes treats nicely. She sits and waits for them. Sahara does well in a crate. She keeps a clean crate. Sahara is about 5 years old, 60lb GSD mix. She is looking for a semi-active family with a playful resident dog(s) that she can be besties with. Older children who like to engage with her will make her very happy. Sahara is an ideal family pup.

Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Camille, better known as Cami, is a Belgian Malinois with a heart as big as her brain! Born around 3/12/25, this girl is brilliant, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. She is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids. She truly adores children — especially her “small humans,” who she loves to snuggle up with whenever she gets the chance. Cami is already potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She plays fetch, takes treats gently, and is an absolute wizard at puzzle toys. Her intelligence really shines — she has even tried agility courses and done amazingly well! This is a dog who loves to learn and thrives when her mind is engaged. Cami is also a big fan of chewing on bones, cozy cuddles, and being close to her people. She bonds deeply and loves hard. Because of her past, Cami does have some separation anxiety. As a very young puppy (around 5–6 months old), she was used as a guard dog in a warehouse and was found wandering alone multiple times by animal control. That early instability left her worried that when her people leave, they may not come back. She is working hard on this and improving, but she will need a patient, understanding family who can offer consistency, reassurance, and lots of love as she continues to build confidence. Cami would do best in a home with consistent routines, mental stimulation, and people who are committed to helping her feel safe and secure. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty, affection, and joy. Cami is a truly special dog — sweet, smart, loving, and full of potential. With the right family, she’s going to absolutely shine If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. DOB: 3/12/2025 Adoption Fee: $500
