Story
Red is in a foster home, to meet him, contact Kelly at (440) 476-8227. Meet Red, your future loyal companion and best friend! This handsome guy thrives on companionship and will stick by your side through thick and thin. While Red always wants to be by your side, he's remarkably well-behaved when left alone, never causing any damage or messes in the house.Red is a smart and attentive dog who knows several commands, including Sit, Stay, Paw, and Down. He patiently waits for your "ok" before he starts eating and is currently mastering taking treats gently with "nice." He is also working on Heel and Leave It, and he's making great progress. At night, Red sleeps soundly in his cage. Red is a champion fetcher and toy catcher, with an energy level that seems limitless. Though Red is incredibly strong and can be a bit challenging to redirect when focused on something, he's a quick learner and just needs a bit of guidance. One quirk to be aware of is his tendency to jump on new people, although he's improving with those he knows well. Red needs to be the only animal in his home, where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves. If you're looking for a devoted and energetic partner who will bring endless fun and loyalty into your life, Red is the perfect match. Come meet him and see for yourself how wonderful he is!

Story
Ruger is a GREAT dog. The sweetest boy. All he wants is love and his ball. It breaks our heart to have to be taking this step but we really think he deserves more and better. Ruger is an active boy and would do well with a fenced in yard, daily walks or runs and training (the fun kind). He’s a working dog and he wants to be busy. Smell training or seeking objects would be right up his alley. He is extremely smart and trains very easily. Very food motivated with training but even more toy (his ball) motivated. With a newborn and a toddler, I just do not have the time he deserves to devote to all of this and I want Ruger to have the best and happiest life possible. He would do best in a situation where his owner can provide an active environment.

Story
Meet Sadie. We just rescued her from a southern OH shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia.  Sadie is a purebred white shepherd. She is 9 years old and about 70 lbs. She CANNOT be around any cats and should have a privacy fenced yard due to her prey drive. We were told she is dog friendly. Sadie seems to be hearing impaired but seems to hear high pitched sounds. She is spayed and all vaccines are up to date. Sadie is housebroken and crate trained. Looking for an adopter equipped to handle hearing impaired dogs. Sadie’s adoption fee is $175. If interested in Sadie, please email hartmanshounds@gmail.com.June 16, 2024, 10:20 pm

Story
Rune is a great dog. He has a lot of energy and needs an owner that has the time and energy to handle his demands. We adopted him from a family in West Virginia as a puppy. He has always been gentle and loyal to our children we just don't have the adequate space for him to run or the energy to dedicate to his training and needs.

Story
~Courtesy Post~ Ted is a 2 year old German shepherd, who is desperate to find a new forever home. Living most of his life tied to a tree, Ted has been forced to endure a lot. He is looking for a committed, dog savvy owner living in a calm, low traffic home with no kids. Ted is extremely loving and loyal to the people he knows and trusts, but he does not warm up to everybody. He will need a family that understands his limitations, and is willing to accommodate his needs. Ted has gone through extensive training with Will Sazlavsky and this dog will receive continued support. He’s an amazing animal. Ted has learned and mastered many commands, he is super attentive, intelligent, gentle leader trained, positive reinforcement only. He has made incredible strides, he loves to please his owners. This dog needs follow through, exercise and if you have family gatherings he prefers to go to his “room” or crate. He’s a dog that will give you the world. He’s loyal, protective playful and is incredibly loving. We will be only looking for applicants with previous GSD experience, no exception. Ted has had a lot of formal training and requires follow through of an experienced GSD owner. This is an amazing dog. Courtesy post with Maggie's Mission Please message Keri Klembarsky Huff and medinameowfix@gmail.com about Ted.
