Please contact for any questions Pepper has not been around young children so we do not know how she would do with them Pepper is a good girl who loves her people. She is protective of her home. She has lived with two golden retrievers and got along well with them for many years. She just would not do well with dogs she does not know that would growl at her. She is a happy-go-lucky girl and enjoys playing with her toys and having and giving love and affection with her humans.

Evie is a beautiful 3-4 yr old Dutch Shepherd mix.  Of course that is a best guess. She is about 60 lbs and likely will not get any larger.  She is social, reacts fine to other dogs, and walks great on lead. She keeps her kennel area clean. As part of the adoption she will be spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, wormed, and microchipped.    If you have interest in Evie please call to schedule an appt or stop in during regular business hours to walk through the shelter.    Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Meet Dodger. He was saved from an overcrowded shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia. He is now fully vetted, neutered and all vaccines. Dodger did test positive for Ehrlichia before he came to us and was put on a regimen of doxycycline. He should need no further treatment and has no symptoms. He loves to play with other dogs and would benefit from another dog in the household. Probably not a good candidate for a home with cats. He is a friendly guy but young children may not be a good fit due to his exuberance .  I do prefer a fenced yard for Dodger so he can play and burn off energy. His foster dad has been working on commands with him and Dodger is a quick learner and doing great. He has mastered many commands. He is a smart leaner and wants to please. He will heed a caregiver willing to exercise him. His foster family has told us that he loves to swim in their pond.  His adoption fee is $200.
