Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

One of my favorite things is playing with my foster siblings - even though I will play with everyone, I usually will gravitate towards one pal at a time. I can be a little reserved at first with my humans but once I trust you I'm very affectionate and like to give hugs! ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: MUST have breed experience BIRTHDAY: 9/28/22 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes - 8 years and older I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. Hi, I'm Sage and I am just the sweetest puppy. My fosters say I have an old, gentle, sweet soul. I came to MVPC just a skinny little fella but I'm looking good now - if I do say so myself! I really, really like - like velcro - love my people but I do know boundaries and am okay with giving you a little space too. I love the dogs in my foster home and am having a great time playing with everyone. I could care less about the house cats. I'm a gentle boy who just wants to please you and be your best friend. I'm a very loyal boy too - you know the whole velcro thing - I have so much love to share. So, if you're looking for an older puppy that is housebroken, sweet, gentle, loyal and just wants to be your best friend - I'm the one!! Rehoming GSD: Onyx (Dayton, OH) Born: 5/20/24, 85 lbs, fixed, microchipped & UTD on shots. Smart, athletic, loyal & playful. Loves laser play, agility, tug, catching toys, baths & staying close. Not aggressive but alert & will bark at strangers. Ideal home: Military, police, security or prior K9 handler OR structured adult home w/ NO kids. Needs routine, boundaries, space & fenced yard/land. Commands: Sit, Stay, Guard, Speak, Walk, By My Side, Lay, partial Roll Over. Potty & crate trained, good left alone in one room. NEEDS MORE PUBLIC TRAINING. Temperament: Energetic, intelligent, good w/ a cat before, unsure w/ dogs, mild food anxiety, some separation anxiety but manageable. Diet: Open Farm + fresh foods. Comes w/ harness, leash, bowls, leftover food, container, crate, toys, shoes, mat, grooming items & microchip info. Due to my partner’s progressing disabilities, we can no longer provide the level of care Onyx needs. PREFER TO KEEP COMMUNICATION/UPDATES.
