Meet Brooks!! This handsome hunk came in as a stray on 12/4/25, and we think he’s about 2 years old. Brooks is absolutely gorgeous — and a big guy — but no one has told him that! He has no idea how large and strong he is, which becomes very clear when he decides your lap is exactly where he belongs. Brooks hasn’t quite mastered personal space or polite manners yet, but he is smart and eager to learn. With guidance, structure, and someone willing to teach him, he’ll blossom into the well-mannered companion he’s meant to be. Brooks is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet this lovable goofball! I arrived as a stray on 2/19/26, which frankly feels like a clerical error, as I am clearly meant for a life of velvet cushions and intellectual discourse. The shelter estimates I am about a year old, which I find appropriate — old enough to have mastered the basics of civilization, young enough to still sprint joyfully through it. Let us address the obvious: I am absolutely stunning. Symmetry. Radiance. Poise. If beauty were a thesis, I would be peer-reviewed and published. But I am not merely a pretty face.
