There were 7 males and the rest were female. Meet Renee Renee is one of our absolute staff favorites — and we can’t believe she’s still waiting for her person. She often gets overlooked because she seems scared and unsure in her kennel. The shelter environment just isn’t her comfort zone. But the moment you take her out? It’s like meeting a completely different dog. Outside the kennel, Renee transforms into a total lovebug. She’s a lap dog at heart, soaking up affection and bonding quickly with her people. She’s also an adventure buddy through and through — always ready to explore, go for a hike, take a car ride, or join you on whatever fun the day brings. Renee is incredibly smart — honestly, a little too smart for her own good! She listens beautifully, picks up on cues quickly, and truly wants to please. With her fantastic listening skills and eager-to-learn personality, she would thrive with someone who enjoys an active, engaged companion. Renee just needs someone to look past the shy kennel exterior and see the amazing, loyal, fun-loving dog she truly is. Once you do, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.
