Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He tries to play with cats, but also respects their space. He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. Roger, a beautiful German Shepherd, was found in February injured and severely underweight on the side of a highway. Sadly, no one ever came forward to claim him. He was brought in from Childress Animal Control and, after receiving the care he needed, was placed in a loving foster home where he has been able to fully recover and regain his strength. Now, Roger is ready to find the forever home he truly deserves. He is a neutered 3-year-old male weighing 73 lbs. He is house-trained, friendly with both people and other dogs, and fully vaccinated (DaPPvL, Rabies, Bordetella). He is heartworm negative and has been treated for worms and fleas/ticks. Roger also knows basic commands such as sit and stay. Roger is an incredibly social, loving boy with a gentle nature. He would make a wonderful addition to just about any family and is ready to give as much love as he receives.
