Being outside and exploring Going places with my people A few fun facts about me: I was named after Chase, the German Shepherd from PAW Patrol. I’m a little suspicious of trash cans sitting along the road. You never know what those things are up to. I may be 80 pounds, but I'm a great leash walker and I never pull. I’ve had a few stops along the way before landing with Central Texas Ruffugees, and I’m really hoping my next stop is the one that sticks. I’m looking for someone who matches my youthful spirit and is ready to help me experience all the things — walks, adventures, new places, new smells, and everything else I haven’t gotten to do yet. After spending years surviving as a stray, he believed the safest thing to do was stay hidden. He tucked himself away in a bedroom, only sneaking out when he truly had to. New people, unfamiliar noises, my husband, my son—everything felt scary to him. He lives beautifully with both dogs and cats and takes a lot of comfort from their presence. Bonnie is a sweet senior girl who brings a calm, gentle presence wherever she goes. In Foster Bonnie has proven to be an easygoing, low-maintenance houseguest. She has carefully mapped out all the best nap spots in the house and happily rotates between them throughout the day. She sleeps on dog beds and couches, relaxes well when left alone, and is mostly housetrained with a routine. Her foster describes her as calm, gentle, and an “absolute joy to live with.” She shares her toys and beds nicely and has even started learning how to play tug with one of her canine roommates. Her foster reports that she loves other dogs, and Bonnie has been equally enthusiastic about people—she “loved everyone” she met and has never met a stranger. Maya came into our lives when we settled down in the Cedar Park area. She has been incredibly sweet while we have had her, however we recently had some family related news which has us needing to give her to a better suitable home. Maya does well with our 5 year old, her favorite game to play with him is chase with her toy poptart. She is house trained, she knows kennel, wait, sit. Another reason we need to rehome her is due to her prey drive. We have guinea pigs and a kitty, while they were in our bedroom she had no problems at all. But when we moved the piggies back out to the living room, her prey drive kicked in. I would recommend if you have smaller animals, not to consider Maya. She moos like a cow if you rub her ears right, I cant ever seem to find the spot but my gf seems to find it often, loves butt pats too.

Koda is 3 years old and an amazing dog with so much love to give. He is house trained, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. He is incredibly loving, affectionate, and obedient. One of his favorite things to do is give hugs and be close to his people. Unfortunately, Koda has recently started experiencing occasional seizures that seem to be triggered by young children crying, arguing, or other sudden loud noises. Because of this, I believe he would be happiest and safest in a home without small children. He would do great with older kids or an individual or couple who can provide him with a calmer environment. I want to find someone who will love Koda, protect him, spoil him, and make him part of their family. Whoever welcomes this sweet boy into their home will be getting an incredibly loving and loyal companion.

Shelter intake date is set for 11/3/26. Very well mannered, no aggression shown. Gets along with dogs cats and people. Listens well, likes to snuggle, would be a great companion on hikes or running. He does bark initially when meeting new people or dogs but is accepting to new friends. He is u sure about people who approach him. He likes to take his time. Completely house trained and loves toys. He does fine on car rides, and has been homeless for the last few months, living in a van. I took him in temporarily to avoid a shelter but I can’t keep him and am desperate to find a home quickly. Falkon is 3.5 years old, male, neutered, half German shepherd and half unknown, 80 lbs. If there is any interest, we can do a meet and greet, no obligation. Located in Leander/Williamson county.

He loves going for walks, playing fetch, and cuddling with his person. He is very sweet, affectionate, and oh so handsome. He has beautiful markings, a soft coat, and a striking left eye that his half brown and half icy blue. Recently rescued from the euthanasia list, he is currently in a foster home learning house manners and personal space. He is completely vetted, neutered, potty-trained, and very smart; he is quickly picking up on commands and redirection. His ideal home is with someone who is patient and willing to work with him as he adjusts to his new surroundings. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, Odin is your guy!
